    摘要： A feeder for supplying fish food has a container for storing food which is dispensed at desired times by rotating the container through one revolution. The container is rotatably mounted on a housing having a rotary dial containing time indicia. A manually turnable lug is mounted on the housing and coacts with the time indicia on the dial to indicate time. One or more pins are detachably connected to the dial to set predetermined times at which the food is to be automatically dispensed. As each pin rotates past the lug, a motor is turned on to rotate the container one revolution to thereby dispense a given amount of food at the predetermined time. The time-indicating lug may be manually turned to turn the motor on in order to dispense food at any desired time.

    摘要： A feeder for dispensing food in a fish tank has a feed box for holding fish food and a rotary drive for rotating the feed box to dispense the food. The feed box comprises a container and a cover. The cover has two opposed elastic arms releasably engageable with the container to detachably couple the cover to the container. The rotary drive has two opposed elastic arms inserted between those of the cover and releasably engageable with the cover to be detachably couple the container to the rotary drive. During detachment of the container from the rotary drive, the arms of the rotary drive restrict disengagement of the arms of the cover from the container thereby preventing accidental detachment of the cover from the container.

    摘要： A timepiece has movable indicator hands for the analog display of current time. An ambient state, such as ambient light intensity, presence of a person in a room, or infrared radiation is sensed. Whether or not time indication is necessary is determined depending on the ambient state. If it is determined that the ambient state indicates that time indication is not necessary, then the movement of the indicator hands is stopped to conserve energy and reduce noise. When the ambient state indicates that time indication is necessary, the position of the indicator hands is adjusted from a stop position to a position indicative of current time.

    摘要： An automatic feeder for tropical fish comprises a rotatable container containing granular feed and a driving device for rotating the container only at preselected times to discharge a predetermined amount of feed from the container. A switch turns on a drive motor at the preselected times to rotate the container, and a pre-settable timer controls the actuation of the switch. The container has a rectangular shape and is divided into a feed-receiving portion and a feed-discharge portion which communicate with each other through an adjustable opening. Rotation of the container through one revolution causes a predetermined amount of feed to flow from the feed-receiving portion through the opening into the feed-discharge portion for discharge from the container.
