The UV absorber-comprising urethane exhibits a UV absorption maximum between 300 and 360 nanometers.

摘要： Film having a biodegradable component are provided where a biodegradable urethane coating is applied to one side of a substrate layer. A pressure sensitive adhesive can be applied to the other side of the substrate layer. The substrate layer itself can be formed of one or more biodegradable materials, including biodegradable polymers. The film can form a portion of a multi-ply laminate and can include one or more ultraviolet or visible light absorbers as well as metallized layers.
