    摘要: A color toner, comprises non-magnetic resin particles containing a coloring agent and two types of inorganic oxide particles, wherein;particles of coloring agent have an average particle diameter D of 300 m.mu..ltoreq.D.ltoreq.800 m.mu. as determined by measurement of scattered-light intensity; coloring agent particles with a particle diameter of from (D-120) m.mu. to (D+120) m.mu. account for not less than 90% of the whole; coloring agent particles with a particle diameter of 169 m.mu. or less account for not more than 1.0%; and coloring agent particles with a particle diameter of 949 m.mu. or more account for not more than 0.5%;said color toner has a volume average diameter of from 6 to 10 .mu.m; colored resin particles with a particle diameter of 5 .mu.m or less are contained in a proportion of from 15 to 40% by number; colored resin particles with a particle diameter of from 12.7 to 16.0 .mu.m are contained in an amount of from 0.1 to 5.0% by volume; colored resin particles with a particle diameter of 16 .mu.m or more are contained in an amount of not more than 1.0% by volume; and colored resin particles with a particle diameter of from 6.35 to 10.1 .mu.m have a particle size distribution that satisfies the following expression:9.ltoreq.V.times.dv/N.ltoreq.14 wherein V represent a volume percentage of colored resin particles with a diameter of from 6.35 to 10.1 .mu.m; N represents a number percentage of colored resin particles with a diameter of from 6.35 to 10.1 .mu.m; and dv represents a volume average particle diameter of the whole colored resin particles; andsaid inorganic oxide particles comprise a hydrophobic inorganic oxide (A) having an absolute value of not less than 50 .mu.c/g for the amount of triboelectricity and a specific surface area S.sub.A of from 80 to 300 m.sup.2 /g as measured by the BET method, contained in an amount of a% by weight based on the colored resin particles, and a hydrophilic inorganic oxide (B) having an absolute value of not more than 20 .mu.c/g for the amount of triboelectricity and a specific surface area S.sub.B of from 30 to 200 m.sup.2 /g as measured by the BET method, contained in an amount of b% by weight based on the colored resin particles, where S.sub.A .gtoreq.S.sub.B, a.gtoreq.b, and 0.3.ltoreq.a+b.ltoreq.1.5.

    摘要: The present invention provides an image of high image quality by using a magnetic carrier coated with a novel coating resin composition. Further, the present invention stably provides a good image which is hardly influenced by environmental fluctuation and long-term use and has a superior stability of a charging amount when left to stand especially under high temperature and high humidity environments. The present invention also provides a magnetic carrier characterized in that a carrier core surface is coated with a copolymer containing at least, as copolymerization components, an acrylic monomer having a specific structure and an acrylic macromonomer having a specific structure.

    摘要: Provided is a developer for replenishment capable of forming a high-quality image even upon duration. The developer for replenishment includes at least a toner and a magnetic carrier, and in the developer for replenishment, 1 part by mass of the magnetic carrier is blended with 2 to 50 parts by mass of the toner, and the magnetic carrier contains a ferrite core and a resin component, has a true specific gravity of 2.5 to 4.2 g/cm3, has a 50% particle diameter on a volume basis (D50) of 15 to 70 μm, and has an average circularity of 0.850 to 0.950, the average circularity having a coefficient of variation of 1.0 to 10.0%.

    摘要: A fixing method and a fixing device is provided in which an unfixed toner image formed on a recording medium is heat-pressure-fixed by using a fixing unit, wherein the unfixed toner image is fixed when the recording medium passes through at least two fixing units arranged in series in a conveying direction of the recording medium. Specific relations are satisfied between a maximum temperature on the recording medium when the recording medium passes through a first fixing unit, a maximum temperature on the recording medium when the recording medium passes through a second fixing unit, a minimum temperature on the recording medium during a time period commencing on ejection of the recording medium from the first fixing unit and ending on entry of the recording medium into the second fixing unit and properties of the toner.

This production method comprises: feeding a fluid containing a substance to be encapsulated into at lease one (13) of material-feeding microchannels in a substrate in which these material-feeding microchannels (12, 13, 14) and a reaction microchannel (18) connected to these material-feeding microchannels are formed; feeding an envelop-forming fluid containing a material for forming envelopes into at least one of the other material-feeding microchannels (12, 14); and allowing the envelope-forming fluid and the fluid containing the encapsulated substance that converge in the reaction microchannel from each material-feeding microchannel to flow through the reaction microchannel while continuously maintaining the interface between the fluids formed at the confluence thereof.

    摘要: An image forming method and an image forming apparatus are disclosed in which an electrostatic latent image is formed on a photosensitive member surface by using a two-component developer including a toner and carrier. The photosensitive member surface has a specific modulus of elastic deformation and includes a charge transport layer with a specific thickness. The toner has a specific weight-average particle diameter. The carrier has a specific volume-average particle diameter and a specific circularity, and contains 20% by number or less of particles having a value of “average circularity−2σ” where σ is standard deviation of carrier circularity.
