    摘要: A portable motor pump of the type in which a pump section driven by a motor is installed inside a liquid chamber, with a discharge port of the pump section being opened into the liquid chamber, and in which water which is to be pumped is led from the outside of the liquid chamber to a suction port of the pump section and the pumped water is discharged from the liquid chamber to the outside is disclosed. The liquid chamber is defined by a motor pump body, a pump outer casing outwardly spaced from and surrounding the motor pump body, a motor head cover covering an upper opening of the pump outer casing and a bottom plate covering a lower opening of the pump outer casing. A circulating water suction port for self-priming of the motor pump is opened into the liquid chamber. A suction port which communicates with the suction port of the pump section and a discharge port for discharging the pumped water to the outside are provided in the motor head cover.

    摘要: A light diffusion member includes a light-transmissive base, a plurality of light diffusion portions, a connecting portion, and a light absorbing layer. The light diffusion portions are arranged on one surface of the base and have light-incident end surfaces each positioned on the side away from the base and having a larger area than a light-emergent end surface thereof. The connecting portion connects at least two adjacent ones of the plural light diffusion portions to each other, and is positioned near the light-incident end surfaces of the adjacent light diffusion portions. The light absorbing layer is formed on the one surface of the base in a region different from a region where the light diffusion portions are formed. A size from the light-incident end surface to the light-emergent end surface of the light diffusion portion is larger than a thickness of the light absorbing layer.

    摘要: A light diffusing member includes a base material having a light transmitting property; a plurality of light blocking sections that are formed in a scattered manner at one surface of the base material; and a light transmissive material layer that is formed at the one surface of the base material. A thickness of the light transmissive material layer is larger than a thickness of each light blocking section. The light transmissive material layer has hollow portions in regions where the light blocking sections are formed. Each hollow portion has a shape in which a cross-section area when each hollow portion is cut at a plane that is parallel to the one surface of the base material is large on a side of the corresponding light blocking section and becomes gradually smaller with increasing distance from the corresponding light blocking section. A portion of the light transmissive material layer other than where the hollow portions are formed is a light transmitting section.

    摘要: A backlight device of the present invention includes a substrate (2), a liquid crystal layer (4), and a scattering layer (5). The substrate (2) has a surface facing the liquid crystal layer (4), on which surface two comb electrodes (3a and 3b) are provided. The comb electrode (3a) includes a plurality of comb-teeth parts (33a) meshing with a plurality of comb-teeth parts (33b) of the comb electrode (3b). Therefore, the comb electrodes (3a and 3b) can causes electric fields to be generated, in response to an applied voltage, in at least two directions each parallel to the surface of the substrate (2). Further, there is a region whose effective refractive indexes with respect to polarized light p and polarized light s become large. It is therefore possible to control emission of both the polarized light p and the polarized light s.
