摘要:
A novel methylated catechin is provided which has stronger antiallergic activity than conventionally known methylated catechins such as epigallocatechin-3-O-(3-O-methyl)gallate and epigallocatechin-3-O-(4-O-methyl)gallate.The epigallocatechin-3-O-gallate derivative is represented by the chemical formula I: (wherein R1 to R6 are each a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and at least three of R1 to R6 are methyl groups) or an isomer thereof.

Disclosed is a processing method whereby microorganisms, particularly waste yeast, can be turned into a processed material having high added value. Also disclosed is said processed material. Further disclosed is a production method for a reducing mixture derived from microorganisms which has an oxidation-reduction potential of 0 mV or less, said method being characterized by processing microorganisms or components thereof with superheated steam in the absence of oxygen.
摘要:
A method for producing a preparation that can be used in the prevention and treatment of inflammatory diseases, including periodontitis caused by P. gingivalis. Specifically, the invention provides a method for producing a hop preparation comprising the following steps (1) to (3): (1) adjusting the pH of a polyphenol-containing liquid prepared from hop bracts to 6 to 7 and passing the liquid through a gel-type synthetic resin to allow components including useful substances to be adsorbed onto the resin; (2) washing the resin obtained in the step (1) with a 30 to 60% aqueous ethanol solution to elute unwanted substances, leaving the useful substances adsorbed to the resin; and (3) washing the resin obtained in the step (2) with a 70% or higher aqueous ethanol solution or ethanol to elute the components including the useful substances and forming the preparation from the eluted fraction.
