摘要： A glenosphere includes a body, a first surface, a second surface, a cavity defined within the body, and a plurality of channels. The body defines a central axis passing through the body. The first surface includes a first rim and a second rim. The first rim is positioned radially outward from the second rim relative to the central axis. The second surface extends from the first rim of the first surface. The second surface has a convex shape. The cavity has a perimeter defined by the second rim and is configured to receive an attachment structure attachable to a bone. The plurality of channels extend from the first surface through the body to the second surface. Each channel defines a first opening positioned on the first surface between the first rim and the second rim and defines a second opening positioned on the second surface. Each channel is configured to receive a bone fixation member configured to secure the glenosphere to the bone.

The cavity has a perimeter defined by the second rim, and includes a first cavity portion configured to receive an attachment structure attachable to a bone, and a second cavity portion configured to engage an engagement member of the attachment structure and oriented along the engagement axis.

摘要： A shoulder prosthesis system has a glenoid socket with an interior face with couplers and an exterior face being a concave articulating face with a first longitudinal radius of curvature and a second latitudinal radius of curvature. A backing plate has an outer extent and an inner extent. The outer extent has a cylindrical base and a recess around the periphery and a plurality of tapered bores extending through the outer extent spaced between the recess and the center of the backing plate. The inner extent is formed with a projection with threads adapted to be rotatably coupled into a scapula of a patient. The couplers of the outer extent are adapted to snap couple with the recesses of the glenoid socket.

摘要： A method and system of suture management aids a surgeon while tying knots in sutures during surgery to preclude suture tangling. A tubular guide has an anchoring screw with a threaded lower end and an upper end removably supported by the guide. Between the upper and lower ends is an eyelet. A pair of sutures includes a first suture of a first visual characteristic and a second suture of a second visual characteristic. Each suture has two free ends and a central portion positioned through the eyelet. At least one hollow sleeve receives there through an associated suture.
