    摘要: Insulated panels and methods of forming insulated panels are provided. According to the method, mold bulkhead and a sealing strip including a first anchor extension, a second anchor extension, and a panel cap are provided. The method also includes removably attaching the exterior face of the sealing strip to the interior mold surface on at least one of the plurality of mold sides, wherein the first anchor extension and the second anchor extension project into the interior mold volume, and wherein the sealing strip defines a sealed insulation zone. A curable building material is introduced into the interior mold volume to form a first slab. The first slab at least partially surrounds the first anchor extension. The method also includes inserting an insulation material layer into the interior mold volume, wherein the insulation material layer is at least partially within the sealed insulation zone. A curable building material is introduced into the interior mold volume adjacent to the insulation material layer to form a second slab. The second slab at least partially surrounds the second anchor extension. The method also includes the step of allowing the curable building material to cure to provide a cured insulated panel, wherein the panel cap defines at least a portion of at least one of the plurality of intermediate faces.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present application relate to systems, devices, and methods for collecting falling mortar. Generally, these systems and methods comprise a masonry wall and one or more mortar stoppers. A mortar stopper may comprise a longitudinally extending surface comprising an indicator that defines an inserting portion and a mortar collecting portion, both of which being integral to the mortar stopper. The inserting portion may be inserted into mortar spaces along a backside of the wall such that the mortar collecting portion extends from the backside of the wall. Thereby, the mortar collecting portion collects mortar falling from the mortar spaces of the backside of the wall. The indicator may be positioned along the longitudinally extending surface such that the indicator indicates an appropriate length of insertion of the inserting portion into the wall sufficient for the mortar stopper to support the mortar collecting portion and the falling mortar collected by the mortar collecting portion. Additional embodiments are disclosed and claimed.

Methods are also provided that comprise the steps of arranging a plurality of upstanding portions to define a casting area, pouring uncured precast material into the casting area, and curing the precast material to provide a panel with a mitered corner.

The elongate body includes a topographic feature in at least one surface such that upon formation of a precast panel that includes profiles formed by the body, the topographic feature creates a relief in portions of the profile. The relief may be in the form of a decorative design or the like. In addition, the elongate body may include enhanced sealing features and a fastening adapter to facilitate improved connection between the body and a surface upon which a precast panel is to be formed.
