    摘要: A modular wall comprising at least two wall panels, each comprising first and second vertical edges, a top edge and a bottom edge. A leg is connectable to a wall panel, configured to apply a vertical force on the wall panel. The first and second vertical bottom edges are shaped to form a male-female connection between adjacent wall panels. Adjacent wall panels are joined together using adhesive. Each vertical edge is provided with cooperating elements, which in use engage with a cooperating element on an adjacent wall panel to pull the two wall panels together whilst the adhesive cures.

    摘要: A photovoltaic construction wall is provided, having an inner surface adapted to face an inner enclosed space, and an outer surface adapted to gather energy from the sun when installed. The wall is used in buildings and also in buildings in building complexes. The construction wall includes a multi-layered composite wall comprising plates made from corrugated cardboard, an insulating space and a photovoltaic panel. The multi-layered composite wall has a first inwardly disposed dense, organically based panel to which is affixed a first plate made from corrugated cardboard, the flutes of the corrugated cardboard construction being disposed transversely to the panel surface; a second dense, organically based panel affixed to the aforementioned plate, to the second dense, organically based panel is affixed a second plate made from a denser corrugated cardboard, the flutes of which are disposed transversely to the panel surface, providing inertia to temperature variations; a third dense, organically based panel connected to said second plate, which third dense, organically based panel has a light absorbing layer on an outwardly disposed surface thereof; and, connected to the light absorbing layer or the third dense, organically based panel, a third plate made from corrugated cardboard the flutes of which are disposed transversly to the panel surface. The third plate has an air gap outwardly disposed thereof in which air is free to circulate by means of vents disposed at the extreme ends of the photovoltaic panel. The photovoltaic panel is made up of photovoltaic cells transparent to infrared radiation from the sun. It is structurally connected to the construction wall at a distance defining said air gap and disposed outwardly so as to gather the sun's rays when installed.

    摘要: The invention is a roof, floor and wall rigid foam insulating and supporting manufactured form that is placed on and between a rafter, joist, or on wall stud support members. Raised support ridges on either side of the rigid foam form are placed on the rafter, joist or stud, and has recessed sections that lie between the support ridges. Overlapping sections on the support ridges allow for uneven spaced support members. The rigid foam form has the flexural strength to hold concrete, cementous or other protective composition material applied upon the surface of the rigid foam form. Roof or floor sheathing or covering can be placed upon the ridge line and fastened into the rafter or joist. Alternatively, spacer studs, that give height adjustment and a solid placement surface, can be placed into the support ridge spacer stud slots before sheathing or covering is placed.

    摘要: An insulation system that includes opposing panels with a partial dead air space in equilibrium with outside air. In one embodiment, two panels are supported parallel to one another separated by a distance. Each of the panels has a plurality of openings. The openings on facing panels are offset from one another so that openings on the two sides are not aligned. The openings are small enough so that a small amount of diffusion can occur allowing the panel to breathe. The panels can be used in attics, over windows or part of a building. In an alternate embodiment, they can be made from flexible sheets and be used to prevent fire hydrants or other objects from freezing. When used in attics, the panels will support weight allowing them to be walked on or used to store objects.
