    摘要: A simplified structure for a wing skin and wing box wherein the internal surface (2) of an aircraft wing skin panel (1) in the wing box includes a multiplicity of strips (3), each strip being associated with a stringer. The strips (3) have different gradients in the span-wise direction S, which is the direction in which the strips extend. The surface of each strip is, in the chord-wise direction C, parallel to the external surface (5). At a junction, at which a rib meets a stringer, the interior surface (2) has an area (4a) that is parallel to the exterior surface (5), such that the rib and stringer at that junction may be simply attached to the wing skin panel (1).

    摘要: The internal surface (2) of an aircraft wing skin panel (1) in the wing box comprises a multiplicity of strips (3), each strip being associated with a stringer.     摘要: A method and composition for distinguishing native hydrocarbons in a formation from oil-based drilling fluid with nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is provided so that NMR may be used in analyzing formation fluids from boreholes drilled with oil-based drilling fluids. In the method, the drilling fluid is doped with oil solubilized paramagnetic species before or during drilling of the borehole. The paramagnetic species cause a shift in the T1 and T2 NMR response of the drilling fluid.

    摘要: An air spring suspension damper assembly includes a first housing and a second housing which telescope relative to each other. An actuating member, such as a cable, is connected to a height leveling valve contained in one of the housings and is attached to the other housing. The actuating member moves a member, such as a rotating cam, a rotating valve plate and/or a rotating valve, such that changes in suspension height rotate the member. Rotation of the member selectively opens inlet and exhaust flow paths to control air pressure in the damper assembly and to maintain air suspension height at a predetermined height.

    摘要: Metal cross-linked phosphate ester compositions impart fragile progressive gel structure to a variety of oil and invert emulsion-based drilling fluids at neutral or acidic pH. The fluids are useful for drilling wellbores in subterranean formations without need for organophilic clays to suspend drill solids. At greater concentrations, metal cross-linked phosphate ester compositions enhance fluid viscosity for suspending weighting materials in drilling fluids during transport of the fluids, as from a manufacturing or mixing facility to a drilling site.
