    摘要: A simplified structure for a wing skin and wing box wherein the internal surface (2) of an aircraft wing skin panel (1) in the wing box includes a multiplicity of strips (3), each strip being associated with a stringer. The strips (3) have different gradients in the span-wise direction S, which is the direction in which the strips extend. The surface of each strip is, in the chord-wise direction C, parallel to the external surface (5). At a junction, at which a rib meets a stringer, the interior surface (2) has an area (4a) that is parallel to the exterior surface (5), such that the rib and stringer at that junction may be simply attached to the wing skin panel (1).

    摘要: The invention discloses two novel phosphorylation sites in human ATR kinase, serine 428 (Ser428) and serine 2317 (Ser2317) respectively, and provides reagents, including antibodies and AQUA peptides, that selectively bind to and/or detect ATR only when phosphorylated at one or more of these respective sites, but do not bind to ATR when not phosphorylated at these respective sites. Also provided are methods for determining the phosphorylation of ATR kinase in a biological sample, by using a detectable reagent that binds to ATR only when phosphorylated at Ser428 and/or Ser2317. Kits comprising the ATR (Ser428, Ser2317)-specific reagents of the invention are also provided.

    摘要: A water-swellable linear polyurethane polymer is formed by reacting a polyethylene oxide (e.g. PEG 4000 to 35,000), a difunctional compound (e.g. a diamine or diol such as 1,10-decanediol) with a diisocyanate. The ratio of the three components is generally in the range 0.1-1.5 to 1 to 1.1-2.5. The polyurethane is water-swellable in the range 300 to 1700% and soluble in certain organic solvents such as dichloromethane. It can be loaded with pharmaceutically active agents, particularly of high molecular weight, to produce controlled release compositions, such as pessaries etc.
