摘要： A container for collecting, storing and dispensing fluid, as in enteral feeding and/or medication deliver to neonatal infants. The container includes a hollow tube with a body, a first end, a second end, and an outer diameter. The hollow tube is configured to receive a movable plunger that advances and retracts therein to define a variable contained volume. The container also includes a sealing head assembly removably mounted at an end of the hollow tube. The sealing head assembly has a diameter or outside dimension that is substantially similar or identical to a corresponding outside diameter or dimension of the hollow tube, so that the container lies flat within the receiver of an enteral feeding pump.

摘要： The present invention is an enteral syringe that can include an elongated body having a hollow cavity therein and at least one vent extending from the hollow cavity to an outside surface of the syringe body. The elongated body can have a first non-circular cross-section. The enteral syringe can also have a plunger operable to selectively travel within the hollow cavity. The plunger can additionally have a second non-circular cross-section that substantially mirrors the first non-circular cross-section. The enteral syringe can additionally have at least one support feature for hanging the syringe from a support structure.

摘要： A method of providing moisture therapy to a subject by applying a moist therapy compress against a treated body portion. The moist therapy compress includes a fluid-permeable shell, a flexible backing fastened to the shell to define an enclosure, and a hydrophilic zeolite fill granules loosely contained within the enclosure. The therapy compress is exposed to a source of moisture to cause absorption of water into the a hydrophilic zeolite, and the moisture is delivered from the hydrophilic zeolite through the fluid permeable shell to the treated body portion.

摘要： This invention relates to moist heat therapy. More particularly, the invention relates to an improved moist heat pack and method of using the same. The present invention has a temperature monitoring means attached to the outer surface of a moist heat pack that is specifically calibrated to measure skin surface temperature at the opposite outer skin contacting surface. The temperature monitoring device of the present invention thereby provides a means for continuously monitoring skin surface temperature during therapy. The moist heat pack of the present invention can also comprise a means for preventing moisture evaporation from the top surface of the pack.
