    摘要: In a valve timing gear of an internal combustion engine having hydraulic valve clearance adjusting elements (21), each element (21) comprises a rotationally symmetrical housing (22), which is guided so that it is longitudinally displaceable in a seat in the engine and at one axial end of the element (21) is acted upon by a cam of a camshaft. The element (21) comprises a piston (24) which is axially displaceable in the housing (22) and is non-positively connected either directly or indirectly to an engine gas exchange valve. A control valve (31), which has a closing member (39) and a valve seat for this formed on the piston (24), is arranged axially between the housing (22) and the piston (24). A reverse-spring element is used as valve clearance adjusting element (21), that is to say an element the control valve (31) of which comprises a control valve spring (30), which is supported by one end on the piston (24) and by the other end on the closing member (39).

For optimized removal of air which is introduced via the oil inlet, it is proposed that a ventilation path which connects the oil supply space and the guide gap is formed in the piston element downstream of the oil inlet and upstream of the connecting duct.

    摘要: A rocker arm for a tappet pushrod valve train, which has a contact surface for a gas exchange valve on an underside at one end and a first bore in which a hydraulic lash adjusting element is arranged at another end. A second bore extends transverse through the rocker arm, between the ends. From the second bore, a passage leads to the first bore. A venting passage extends from a bottom of the bore at the another end and has an outlet aligned with the primary passage. A secondary passage branches from the venting passage and has an opening that extends to an upper side of the rocker arm and is situated in a longitudinal channel. The channel extends along the upper side and into a region on the one end. From the region, the hydraulic medium can be routed through an end passage to the contact surface.

    摘要: A valve drive with a decompression brake for an internal combustion engine, which has a camshaft with a cam, a rocker arm for transmitting the cam stroke to a gas exchange valve, a pivot bearing supporting the rocker arm, and a hydraulic valve play compensating element arranged in force flow between the cam and gas exchange valve. The valve play compensating element is fixed in the engine and valve drive also has a secondary lever with a first and second lever section. The secondary lever is angularly connected, between the lever sections, to a lever support formed on the rocker arm, is supported with the first lever section on the valve play compensating element and actuates the gas exchange valve by the second lever section. The effective lever arm of the first lever section is considerably greater than the effective lever arm of the second lever section.
