摘要: A fully variable electro-hydraulic valve system, comprising a sliding sleeve (A103, B103), a spiral shaft (A102, B102), a piston (A105, B105), and a reset spring (A104, B104). The sliding sleeve (A103, B103) is fixed relative to an engine; the piston (A105, B105) abuts against a valve assembly (106); the spiral shaft (A102, B102) is axially controlled by a cam surface of a camshaft (101); and the spiral shaft (A102, B102) is provided with a spiral groove (A102D, B102D) and a blockage part (A102G, B102G). When the spiral groove (A102D, B102D) communicates with a limiting oil hole (A118, B118), a sliding sleeve cavity (Q) communicates with a low-pressure oil path of the engine for pressure relief.

摘要: A rocker arm includes an outer arm having a first side and a second side, an inner arm positioned between the first side and the second side of the outer arm, a pivot axle pivotally coupling the inner arm to the outer arm at a first end of the inner arm and a first end of the outer arm, and a latch pin having a first position and a second position. The latch pin in the first position pivotally fixes the inner arm to the outer arm at a second end of each of the inner arm and a second end of the outer arm, and in the second position allows the inner arm and the outer arm to pivot independently. Two lost motion springs are respectively secured to mounts provided on the outer arm.

摘要: A system includes a rocker arm assembly for operative engagement with a first and second cam. The assembly includes a first arm for operatively engaging the first cam for a first desired lift profile, a second arm for operatively engaging the second cam for a second desired lift profile, where the second arm includes a latch to engage the second arm with the first arm. The latch is responsive to supplied oil pressure and release oil pressure to switch between lift profiles. The system includes the latch coupled to the supplied or released oil pressure to engage the arms before the first and second arms are engaged with the base circle portion of each of the respective first and second cams.

摘要: In a control device for an engine, the engine includes combustion chambers, ports connected to the combustion chambers, and valves that open and close areas between the combustion chambers and the ports. The control device includes an electronic control unit that is configured to execute an anti-freezing operation of performing control to fully close the valves or make the valves be in a state of being opened with a lift amount of 1 mm or more, in a case where temperatures around the valves are lowered to a predetermined temperature range after the engine is stopped, or in a case where an outside air temperature when the engine is stopped is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature. The predetermined temperature range is a temperature range in which an upper limit value is lower than 10° C., and the predetermined temperature is lower than 5° C.

摘要: At crank angle CA10 at which the switch request of the drive cam was issued, the ejection operations of the pins at all the solenoid actuators started simultaneously. The ejected pins are seated on the cam carriers at erank angle CA12. The pin seated on the cam carrier moves along the grooves in accordance with the rotation of the cam carrier. The earliest finish timing of the switch operation of the drive cam is at crank angle CA13 (#4 cylinder). At the crank angle CA13, drive of the fuel injector and the ignition device in each cylinder is permitted.

摘要: A method for controlling valve timing is provided for an engine including a continuous variable valve duration device disposed on an intake valve side, and a continuous variable valve duration device and continuous variable valve timing device disposed on an exhaust valve side. The method includes: classifying first, second, third, fourth, and fifth control regions depending on an engine speed and an engine load; applying a maximum duration to an intake valve and controlling a valve overlap in the first control region; applying the maximum duration to the intake valve and exhaust valve in the second control region; controlling a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) of an intake manifold to be maintained consistently in the third control region; controlling a wide open throttle valve (WOT) and retarding an exhaust valve opening (EVO) timing in the fourth control region; and controlling the WOT and retarding an intake valve closing (IVC) timing in the fifth control region.
