    摘要: An axial thrust bearing includes a plurality of circumferentially arranged segments. The segments are constrained in the circumferential direction by means of support plates disposed therebetween. The segments are elastically supported by means of individual spring elements mounted in a bearing body. The segments are provided with support ribs having tilting edges. The support ribs are supported between the support plates, and the tilting edges are supported against the spring elements. As a result, friction between the segments is minimized.

    摘要: A continuous process for preparation of a polyether polyol in a reactor includes introducing an initial starter/catalyst mixture into the reactor. The initial starter/catalyst mixture comprises an initial starter and a catalyst with the catalyst selected from aluminum phosphate catalysts and/or aluminum phosphonate catalysts and/or residues of these catalysts. In this continuous process, one or more alkylene oxide is continuously introduced into the reactor. Additional amounts of the catalyst and a continuous starter are also continuously introduced into the reactor. The polyether polyol prepared herein is continuously withdrawn from the reactor.

    摘要: A vane carrier (1) is axially located in an upper casing part (2) by means of a wedge (3). On the one hand, axial location, attainable by simple means, of the vane carrier (1) is desirable after the assembly of the upper casing parts (2). On the other hand, there is a requirement for easy release of the upper casing part (2) during the dismantling of the latter. During the assembly of the upper casing part (2), the wedge (3) is pulled tight against the vane carrier (1) by means of a screw (8). The vane carrier (1) is axially located in the upper casing part (2) by contact of the wedge contact surfaces (3', 3") with the surface (5) of the vane carrier (1) and with the surface (2") of the upper casing part (2). During dismantling of the upper casing part (2), the screw (8), and therefore the wedge (3), is loosened. When the upper casing part (2) is slightly raised, gaps form between the surfaces (2', 4) of the vane carrier (1) and the upper casing part (2), between the surfaces (3', 5) of the wedge (3) and the vane carrier (1), between the part (2) and between the surfaces (35, 36) of the upper casing part (2) and the compressor part (28). This formation of gaps makes possible satisfactory dismantling and assembly of the upper casing part (2) without the danger of damage to the previously paired surfaces or the previously clearance fitted surfaces concerned.
