摘要： A seat belt has a buckle tongue stop that is resiliently deformable. The buckle tongue stop may be deformable laterally or in its width and may be formed of compressible bumps. The seat belt allows a child seat to be secured in a vehicle according to European regulations yet still enables the buckle tongue to be supported on the belt webbing at a convenient location for an adult vehicle occupant.

摘要： A facsmile machine determines the status of a received or a transmitted facsimile message and, in response thereto, dials a specified telephone number and outputs a status message to notify a user of the status of the received or transmitted facsimile message. Another feature outputs a status message to indicate a predetermined condition at the facsimile machine. The status message may include an audio message to a data message. Another feature uses information detected in the control portion of the facsimile message to identify which of a plurality of predefined facsimile machine users is to be notified of the receipt of the facsimile message. In one embodiment, the detected information includes the identity of the location that transmitted the facsimile message.

摘要： Apparatus is disclosed for incorporation into a key telephone system control unit, in at least one station port, for operating an at least one key type set and an at least one tip and ring device simultaneously bridged onto the same station port without the use of any special service circuits or adaptors. The ability to signal alerting indepenedntly via ringing signal on a TR-pair, via messages indicating alerting transmitted on a service pair for a key set or via both techniques simultaneously is also disclosed. Further, the alerting ability disclosed in combination with control by a key system controller of the access of a key set to voiceband communications over the TR-pair allows for incorporation of additional features into a key telephone system. These features include the following: ring specific applications relating to an external event; direct transfer of calls to the transferor station port; calling other sets on the same station port; MEWPRIC (Multiple Extension With Personal Ringing on Incoming Calls) operation, i.e., a party line type of operation where the TR device and the key set sharing a single station port of station ports 103 are assigned different endpoint addresses; prevention of "barge in", i.e., bridging, by a key type set onto a call to a TR device; time phasing of rings to allow for a coverage operation; and fax trouble detection.

摘要： Wellbore liners are set with a running shoe comprising a cylindrical body, end cap, check valve and receiver member in assembly. The receiver member includes threads for receiving the coupling sleeve of a running tool, and retaining wickers for engagement with a cement plug or dart to retain the same permanently engaged with and blocking the flow of fluid through the running shoe. A running tool for use with the shoe includes a coupling sleeve which is retained on a support mandrel by a collar which is secured to the mandrel with a shear pin so that pressuring up the workstring, in the event of a stuck coupling sleeve, will permit retrieval of the main part of the running tool and the workstring. The interior parts of the running shoe are made of aluminum or plastic for easy drill-out to extend the wellbore beyond the end of the liner.
