    摘要: An armature coil has sets of unit coil groups, each comprising an even number of unit coils, which are printed and arranged on a belt-like, thin and pliable insulating material to form a printed coil. The printed coil is wound and fixed into a cylindrical shape, the armature coil being featured in that the gap between adjacent conductors of the unit coil groups located on the outer periphery side of the cylindrical shape is set larger than the gap between adjacent conductors of the unit coil groups located on the inner periphery side thereof such that the conductors of respective unit coils are axially arranged to take the same angle in the circumferential direction.

A vehicle starting apparatus according to the present invention is provided with an engine starting apparatus that starts an engine mounted in a vehicle, wherein before the engine is ignited, the engine starting apparatus makes a cranking rotation speed of the engine lower than a rotation speed corresponding to the resonance frequency of the engine, and after the engine has been ignited, the engine starting apparatus increases the rotation speed of the engine up to a rotation speed that is the same as or higher than said rotation speed corresponding to the resonance frequency.

    摘要: To obtain a rotating electrical machine preventing a functional failure and shortening of the life of brushes caused by a temperature rise of the brushes installed to a vehicle AC power generator or a motor generator. A brush holder holding brushes supplying a field current to a rotor is provided with brush temperature suppressing metal members installed substantially parallel to the brushes in the vicinity of abutment portions of the brushes and slip rings in point-, line-, or surface-contact with the brushes at least at one point besides energization terminals. The brush temperature suppressing metal members not only diffuse heat generated at the brushes, but also function as a heat capacity for a case where a large amount of heat is generated in a short time, such as during regenerative power generation and a start-up operation, and thereby prevent an excessive temperature rise of the brushes.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an electrical rotating machine capable of securing safety against collision. Included are a rotor having a field winding and cooling fans, and a stator having a stator winding, arranged so as to surround the rotor. A bracket 1 is fixed to a load side end of the stator, and a heat sink is disposed inside the bracket. On the anti-load side of the heat sink, a field circuit unit and power circuit units for controlling the field winding and the stator winding, respectively, are mounted, whereas on the load side thereof, cooling fins are disposed. The anti-load side and lateral side of the field circuit unit and the power circuit units are surrounded by the bracket. Accordingly, a whole of the field circuit unit and the power circuit units is surrounded by the bracket and the heat sink.

    摘要: A conveying device includes a switching gate, a handle, and a link mechanism. The switching gate switches the direction in which a sheet of paper is conveyed along a conveying path. Normally, the weight of the switching gate keeps a front end portion of the gate engaging with a recess. A user grips the handle when he/she opens the conveying device from an apparatus. The user's grip on the handle makes the link mechanism disengage the gate portion from the recess. The link mechanism includes a protrusion protruding toward the apparatus and having a slope, which tapers off. When the conveying device closes into the apparatus, compressive contact of the protrusion slope with a wall of the apparatus disengages the gate portion from the recess.
