摘要： A vehicle wash system includes a frame suspended above a vehicle treatment area. A pivotable frame is pivotally coupled to the frame, and an extendable and retractable linear frame is coupled to the pivotable frame and configured to extend downward from the pivotable frame and retract upward toward the pivotable frame. A top brush is coupled to a lower end of the linearly frame, and is extendable toward engagement with a vehicle. The top brush is also pivotable relative to a vertical position via pivoting of the pivotable frame, and the top brush is pivotable at different degrees of extension of the linear frame. The linear frame and the top brush may pivot in response to contact from the vehicle.

摘要： An electric power tool includes a housing, a commutator motor housed in the housing, and a brush holder disposed in the housing. A fan is disposed to the commutator motor. The brush holder includes a metal sleeve and a resin base. The metal sleeve houses a brush, and the resin base holds the metal sleeve at one surface side of the resin base. The resin base includes an opening portion exposing the metal sleeve to the opposite side surface of the one surface side. The brush holder is disposed in a direction that the resin base is disposed at the fan side such that rotation of the fan causes air suctioned from an air intake opening disposed in the housing at the metal sleeve side to be discharged from an exhaust outlet disposed in the housing at the fan side after passing through the brush holder and a commutator.

摘要： An electrical machine such as an alternator or starter-alternator for a motor vehicle which is fitted with the one-piece voltage-regulator/brush-holder assembly (1). The brush-holder (6) is capable of guiding at least first and second brushes by means of respective first and second longitudinal recesses (7). The recesses are substantially parallelepiped, made of an electrically insulating material and extend substantially in an axial plane of a rotor of the machine. Each recess is provided with at least one respective longitudinal internal groove (9) in communication with at least one channel (11) provided in a body (6) of the assembly (1), in an axial direction (XX′) of the rotor, and intended for a coolant (8) to pass therethrough. A first cross section of the first internal groove is between 5% and 7% of a second cross section of the recesses.

摘要： A power tool is provided including an electric motor and a tool housing arranged to house the motor. The electric motor includes a stator, an armature rotatably with respect to the stator and having an armature shaft, and a fan rotatably attached to the armature adjacent the stator. The fan includes blades each having an angled side edge such that a longitudinal length of each blade is smaller at an outer periphery of the fan than at an inner edge of the fan blade near the armature shaft. The tool housing includes an annular rib disposed around a periphery of the housing in close proximity to the fan. The annular rib has an angled surface substantially parallel to the angled side edges of the fan blades to contain airflow generated by the fan in a centrifugal direction of the power tool radially from the armature shaft.
