    摘要: A narrow-band observation image and a spectral estimation image are automatically switched based on the type of a subject. In an endoscopic image obtained by a scope, judgment is made as to whether the endoscopic image was obtained by close-up imaging or by distant-view imaging. When it is judged that the endoscopic image was obtained by distant-view imaging, white light is output from a light source unit and a spectral estimation image is output. When it is judged that the endoscopic image was obtained by close-up imaging, narrow-band light is output from the light source unit and a narrow-band observation image that has been obtained when the narrow-band light was output is output.

    摘要: An image processing method and apparatus enhancing sharpness of an image while suppressing enhancement of noise components. Image data is separated into frequency components, and an evaluation value for evaluating the level of an image to be enhanced is calculated for each pixel. A gain for an intermediate/high frequency component is set in accordance with the evaluation value, and multiplied by the intermediate/high frequency component, and the frequency components are synthesized. Test images, each having a density which is different from the other but constant over the test image, are prepared and an evaluation value is obtained from each of the test images as an evaluation correction value. The evaluation value of the image for processing is corrected by subtracting the evaluation correction value corresponding to the density of each pixel from the evaluation value of the image data to be processed for each pixel.

    摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method which makes it possible to analyze more easily the concentration of glue in an electrolyte solution, while surpressing the degradation of glue during the analysis. There is provided a method for analyzing the concentration of glue contained in an electrolyte solution containing the electrolyte components by using high performance liquid chromatography, characterized in that said method comprises a step wherein an electrolyte solution is added into the eluent pH of which has been adjusted equal to or less than 5 by adding acid to an aqueous solution of phosphate of alkaline metal or alkaline earth metal, a step wherein the eluent into which the electrolyte solution has been added is passed through a separation column the exclusion limit molecular weight of which is 4000-6000 for separating the glue and electrolyte components, and a step wherein the separated glue is detected by a detector.

    摘要: There is provided an image processing apparatus by which images sent from different modalities are simultaneously displayed on one monitor, such that even when at least one monochromatic image is displayed together with at least one color image, the at least two images can be easily reproduced to have optimum gradations associated with the images. The image processing apparatus includes an identifying device which identifies types of modalities from which the image data have been sent, a correcting device which applies look-up tables or correction coefficients for gradation corrections in accordance with the respective modalities to the image data and performs gradation correction corresponding to the characteristic of the monitor on the image data, and a position setting device which sets positions on a display screen of the monitor in which the diagnostic images are to be displayed.
