    摘要： A printer includes a mainframe including a front face part that has an opening through which a recording medium passes; a guide unit connected to the mainframe on a first side of the front face part; a printer mechanism unit configured to perform printing on the recording medium, and connected to the mainframe on a second side of the front face part opposite to the first side thereof; an arm unit having a first end connected to the mainframe; and a shaft unit configured to hold a roll of the recording medium, and connected to a second end of the arm unit, wherein the guide unit is configured to guide the recording medium so as to feed the recording medium to the printer mechanism unit through the opening of the front face part of the mainframe.

    摘要： A printing apparatus includes: a paper roll containing part containing a paper roll; a printer unit provided side by side with the paper roll containing part, the printer unit printing information on paper pulled from the paper roll and cutting a piece off the pulled paper on which piece the information is printed; and a presenter unit. The presenter unit includes a reception opening formed on an upper side thereof and receiving the cut piece of paper delivered from the printer unit, first and second ejection openings formed on opposite ends of the presenter unit and ejecting the cut piece of paper, and a conveying mechanism conveying the cut piece of paper between the first and second ejection openings. The presenter unit is provided below the paper roll containing part and the printer unit so that the cut piece of paper is delivered into the reception opening.

    摘要： A printer apparatus is disclosed that includes a printer unit, a first chassis, and a second chassis that is arranged to open/close through rotation. The printer unit includes a thermal head, a first module having a motor, and a second module having a platen roller and a rotating body. The first chassis includes a heat sensitive paper roll accommodating portion and a mount portion to which the first module is mounted. The second chassis includes mount portions to which the second module and a printed paper roll shaft are mounted, a printed paper roll accommodating portion, and a rotation transmitting mechanism. When the second chassis is closed, the heat sensitive paper roll accommodating portion is closed, the second module is coupled to the first module, the rotating body is rotated by the motor, and the shaft is rotated by the motor via the rotating body and the rotation transmitting mechanism.

The printer includes a status detecting mechanism including a detecting part having a detection function for detecting a status of the printer, a restricting part for restricting the detection function of the detecting part, and a function restriction releasing part for releasing the restricted function of the detecting part. The engagement of the platen roller and the module displaces the function restriction releasing part. The displacement causes the function restriction releasing part to release the restricted function of the detecting part.
