A throttle control apparatus which is adapted to be disposed near the accelerator pedal of a vehicle includes an electric motor, and an operational member which is operatively connected to the output shaft of the electric motor for abutting against the accelerator pedal in order to swing the accelerator pedal during operation of the motor. The motor is positioned within a housing and is operatively connected to the operational member by way of interengaging gears located in the housing and a rotation shaft extending through the housing. To facilitate the mounting of the housing on the vehicle dashboard, a two-piece bracket can be employed.

Disclosed are a driving module and an electronic apparatus including the same, which are capable of performing satisfactory driving even under high-temperature environment and of being miniaturized. The driving module (1) includes: a lens frame (4) provided with a guide protrusion (4D); and a support including a module lower plate (8) for positioning the lens frame (4) at a reference position, and a module frame (5) for housing the lens frame (4) movably. Further, the driving module (1) includes: an upper plate spring (6) and a lower plate spring (7) that are attached so as to extend in a direction orthogonal to a driving direction between the lens frame (4) and the support, and are placed so as to be opposed to each other in parallel under an unloaded state; a shape memory alloy wire (10) that is stretched over a tubular outer circumferential portion of the module frame (5), and that is provided with an intermediate portion locked on the guide protrusion (4D); a compression coil spring (40) that abuts at one end thereof against the guide protrusion (4D), and that allows the guide protrusion (4D) to abut against the module lower plate (8) under a condition that the shape memory alloy wire (10) is deenergized, to thereby preload the guide protrusion (4D); and a cover (11) for supporting the other end of the compression coil spring (40).

The driving device includes a shape memory alloy wire engaged with the body to be driven and contracted by heat, which is generated when an electric current is applied thereto, to drive the body to be driven against the restoring force of the plate spring member, and a holding terminal having a wire holding portion for holding an end of the shape memory alloy wire. The holding terminal has a fitting portion positioned by being fitted to the supporting body, and a regulating portion serving as a detent of the supporting body.
