    摘要: A shaft sealing assembly is located in a suction chamber of a swash plate type compressor to seal the space between a drive shaft and a housing. A first end portion of the drive shaft is supported by a first radial bearing. A second end portion of the drive shaft is supported by a second radial bearing. The suction chamber is closer to the first end portion of the drive shaft than the first radial bearing is. An axial passage is formed in the drive shaft to connect the suction chamber to the crank chamber. An inlet of the axial passage is closer to the second end portion than the second radial bearing is. An outlet of the axial passage is closer to the second end portion than the first radial bearing is.

    摘要: A torque limiter to be operatively coupled to an engine is secured to the outer periphery of a driving shaft through screwing-engagement. The driving shaft and the torque limiter are screw-engaged and fixed to each other so that the torque limiter is pushed or urged against a seating face formed at the outer periphery of the driving shaft. The seating face abuts against the torque limiter restricting the screwing-movement of the driving shaft. Rotation force is transmitted between the driving shaft and the torque limiter via the seating face. A cylindrical member is disposed between the torque limiter and the seating face of the driving shaft. The cylindrical member is press-fitted and fixed to the outer periphery of the driving shaft, so that the power transmission between the driving shaft and the torque limiter is also performed through the press-fit portion between the cylindrical member and the driving shaft.

    摘要: A seal is provided between the housing assembly of a variable displacement compressor and a rotary shaft to seal inside the housing assembly. The seal is retained in a retaining chamber, which is separated from a suction chamber and a control pressure chamber. A refrigerant passage is connected to the retaining chamber to feed a refrigerant to the retaining chamber to cause the refrigerant to contact the seal. The refrigerant passage includes a path extending from outside the housing assembly to the suction chamber through the retaining chamber. A restriction ring having a restriction function guides the refrigerant from the control pressure chamber to the retaining chamber and releases an internal pressure of the control pressure chamber.

The front housing has a through-hole through which the rotary shaft extends, and the shaft seal device is arranged in the through-hole. A passage (suction passage portion) is connected to the thorough-hole. An inlet from a portion of the passage to the through-hole is arranged right above the rotary shaft, and an outlet from the through-hole to a portion of the passage is arranged right below the rotary shaft. The passage is connected to a suction pressure region outside the compressor and to the suction chamber via the through-hole.

An allowable movement amount of the piston ring with respect to the piston is greater than or equal to the minimum stroke of the piston.

    摘要: Lubricating oil feeding mechanism has an oil-collecting recess and an oil-supplying groove formed on the wall of the housing. The oil-collecting recess connects a gap defined between the through hole and the bolt to the oil-supplying groove, the gap being in the upper position with respect to a sliding part to be lubricated in the housing in an operating state of the mounted compressor. The oil-collecting recess extends from the gap in the circumferential direction of the drive shaft, and the oil-supplying groove upwardly extends toward the oil-collecting recess. The oil-supplying groove is arranged so as to guide lubricating oil to the sliding part. Lubricating oil adhered on the bolt can be collected to the oil-collecting recess via the gap, and is fed to the sliding part through the oil-supplying groove. Therefore, a large amount of lubricating oil in a swash plate chamber can be utilized to lubricate the sliding part.

    摘要: A refrigerant compressor includes a compression mechanism, a discharge passage, and an oil separator. The compression mechanism compresses a refrigerant gas containing a lubricant oil. The refrigerant gas that has been compressed by the compression mechanism flows through the discharge passage. The oil separator is arranged in the discharge passage and separates the lubricant oil from the refrigerant gas flowing in the discharge passage. The oil separator has a rotator that causes the refrigerant gas to flow around the axis of the rotator and a circumferential wall that encompasses the rotator and extends along the axis of the rotator. The rotator and the circumferential wall define a separation zone in between. The lubricant oil is separated from the refrigerant gas by the flow of the refrigerant gas around the rotator in the separation zone. The circumferential wall has an oil outlet that allows the separated lubricant oil to flow to the exterior of the oil separator. The oil separator has an inlet port that allows the refrigerant gas to flow into the separation zone and an outlet port that allows the refrigerant gas to flow out of the separation zone. The rotator is arranged between the inlet port and the outlet port. The inlet port and the outlet port are arranged so that an inlet direction of the refrigerant gas flowing through the inlet port is substantially parallel with an outlet direction of the refrigerant gas flowing through the outlet port.
