    摘要: There are provided a wire harness and a method of manufacturing the wire harness capable of reducing the assembling cost. The wire harness includes: an insulating housing (3), on the board (11) of which partition walls (12) are arranged in parallel with each other; a cover member (2) capable of holding the insulating housing (3); a large number of pressure-connecting terminals (15) and crimping terminals (16) respectively arranged along the partition walls (12); and a large number of electric wires (103) respectively connected to the pressure-connecting terminals (15) and crimping terminals (16). The wire harness is formed by conducting the manufacturing steps of: a pressure-connecting terminal inserting step in which the pressure-connecting terminals (15) are arranged between the partition walls (12); a pressure-connecting step in which the electric wires (103) are connected with the pressure-connecting terminals (15); a crimping step in which the crimping terminals (16) are arranged between the partition walls (12) after the electric wires are connected with the crimping terminals (16); and a cutting step in which the material insulating housing (13) is cut into a predetermined length, wherein these steps are conducted in an arbitrary order, and the wire harness is formed by further conducting the manufacturing step of: a connector assembling step in which the insulating housing (3) is held by the cover member (2).

    摘要: An adapter has a cylindrical body which is screwed onto a battery post, and a flange portion formed on a top portion of the cylindrical body to be clamped by a screwing tool. A terminal body includes a substantially U-shaped adaptor fitting portion which accommodates the adapter therein, and a seat portion on which an electric wire terminal is fixed. A lever includes a cam portion and is supported on the terminal body so as to be pivotable between a first position and a second position. A space in which the flange portion is capable of passing through is secured inside of the adaptor fitting portion when the lever is in the first position. The cam portion is abutted against an outer periphery of the cylindrical body of the adaptor so that the adaptor is retained between the cam portion and an inner face of the adaptor fitting portion, when the lever is in the second position. The flange portion of the adaptor is engaged with a top end face of the adapter fitting portion of the terminal body.

A spring member (5) is received in the male connector (2) and prevents a half-fitted condition of the male and female connectors due to a resilient force thereof. A lock arm (10) is elastically and displaceably connected to a housing of one of the male and female connectors by interconnecting portions (30). The sum of the transverse cross-sectional areas of the interconnecting portions (30) is smaller than the transverse cross-sectional area of the lock arm (10) so that the entire lock arm (10) is not elastically deformed when canceling a fitted condition of the male and female connectors. When the male and female connectors are completely fitted to each other, the spring member (5) urges the lock arm (10) in such a direction that the lock arm (10) can retain the mating connector (3).
