摘要: An indwelling catheter is made of a polyurethane resin having a Shore hardness of 60D or more. The soft segment of the polyurethane resin is constituted by polycaprolactone. The indwelling catheter has a kinking resistance of 10 mm or more when measured at 37.degree. C. in wet state. The Young's modulus is at first 20 kgf/mm.sup.2 or more when measure at 25.degree. C. in dry state, and reduces to 15 kgf/mm.sup.2 or less by soaking it in water of 37.degree. C. for 5 minutes or less.

摘要: A stent 2 comprising a ring-shaped stent unit 4 formed by a zigzag-shaped threadlike material 10 continuing in the circumferential direction and expandable in the radius direction R from a contracted state. At least one of turned edge portions 8a and 8b of the zigzag-shaped threadlike material 10 composing said stent unit 4 and at least one of turned edge portions 8a and 8b of the zigzag-shaped threadlike material 10 in another stent unit 4 being adjacent to the stent unit 4 in the axial direction are connected in the axial direction X by a connection portion 6. The turned edge portions 8a and 8b position by being shifted in the axial direction X of the stent from each other between said turned edge portions 8a and 8b next to each other in the circumferential direction Y.

摘要: A stent of interconnected ring-shaped stent units formed by a continuous threadlike material that extends back and forth to form a zigzag pattern of segments extending between opposite side turned edge portions. The zigzag pattern forming the outer circumference of each ring-shaped stent unit with at least some of said turned edge portions at a same side of the segments having a shifted position along the stent axial direction relative to a position of others of said turned edge portions at that same side of the segments so that not all of the adjacent tuned edge portions at that same side of the segments are aligned along a common circle extending around the outer circumference of each ring-shaped stent unit. At least some of the turned edge portions are also formed to have a wider line width than the line width of the segments.

摘要: The present invention provides an intravascular catheter comprising a catheter part; an internal needle disposed through the catheter part; and a flexible resin member disposed on the outer surface of the catheter part. It is preferable that the intravascular catheter comprises a blood leakage prevention member for preventing leakage of blood by closing the catheter part via the flexible resin member. It is also preferable that the blood leakage prevention member comprises a pressure part capable of pressuring the catheter part via the flexible resin member. It is further preferable that the blood leakage prevention member comprises a fixing mechanism capable of fixing the pressure part in the pressuring state, and a releasing mechanism capable of releasing the pressuring state.
