    摘要: The invention is directed to a braking pressure control apparatus for controlling a wheel slip of a driven wheel during braking and driving operations, wherein pressure control valves are disposed in the fluid passage between a master cylinder and a wheel brake cylinder, and a changeover valve is disposed in the passage between the master cylinder and the pressure control valves, for blocking the flow of the brake fluid when the wheel slip of the driven wheel is controlled during the driving operation. A first reservoir having a first variable volume chamber for storing the brake fluid discharged from the wheel brake cylinder is provided and normally urged to be of its minimum volume. Also, a second reservoir having a second variable volume chamber for storing the brake fluid discharged from the wheel brake cylinder is provided and normally urged to expand for storing a predetermined amount of the brake fluid. A fluid pump is provided for pumping the brake fluid from the first and second reservoirs, and supplying the pumped brake fluid to the passage between the pressure control valves and the changeover valve in the wheel slip control during the braking and driving operations. Thus, the apparatus may be easily installed in a conventional braking system without any change to the master cylinder reservoir.

    摘要: A fluid pressure circuit is provided in which two independent systems are provided with a pressure generator for supplying pressure through each of the circuits so as to operate the brake system of a vehicle in an antiskid mode. The fluid pressure circuits have a phase difference of a half a period with respect to each other so as to provide for a continuous pressure to each of the brake systems of the independent fluid pressure systems. By providing such an arrangement, pulsation effects of each independent system are reduced without adversely influencing the pressure generator apparatus and while decreasing the noise associated with the operation of the fluid pressure system under such operating conditions.

    摘要: An anti-skid apparatus for installation in a vehicle braking system having a master cylinder, a wheel brake cylinder and a primary fluid passage connecting these cylinders includes a changeover valve disposed in the primary fluid passage to selectively communicate the wheel brake cylinder with the master cylinder or with a reservoir, and a fluid pump for pumping a brake fluid from the reservoir and returning it to a portion of the primary fluid passage between the master cylinder and the changeover valve. The anti-skid apparatus further includes a control valve disposed in that portion of the primary fluid passage. The control valve comprises a piston slidably disposed in a housing, and a valve member slidably disposed in the piston and seatable on a valve seat with a cutout formed thereon. The control valve allows a flow of the brake fluid from the master cylinder and/or the fluid pump to the wheel brake cylinder through the changeover valve without restriction in normal braking operation. In the anti-skid operation, the control valve allows a restricted flow of the brake fluid through the cutout to reduce the increasing speed of the hydraulic pressure in the wheel brake cylinder.
