    摘要: A brake device for motor vehicles has at least two hydraulic brake circuits which are directly connected to a master brake cylinder, as well as an additional brake circuit, which is able to be actuated via a control device, independently of the master brake cylinder. Because of the separate hydraulic brake circuits in the region of the front axle, redundancy is provided, while the third brake circuit, that is able to be actuated independently of the master brake cylinder and typically acts on the rear wheels, during automatic actuation, permits taking into account a braking effect by additional active assemblies, such as a driven generator.

    摘要: A vehicular antilock brake control system does not require a lengthy extension piping from its actuator. The system provides for an accurate controlling method for maximizing a calculated road surface friction coefficient. Each wheel has a control unit consisting of a stress sensor, a controller and an actuator installed at the respective wheel. A stress value is detected, representative of road surface friction value or road surface friction coefficient value, for the corresponding wheel independently of the other wheels. In response to the output signal of the sensor, the controller regulates the actuator which controls brake fluid pressure applied to the respective wheel.

    摘要: A vehicle brake system including a wheel brake and a master cylinder operable to provide pressurized fluid to the wheel brake. The master cylinder includes a housing having a bore formed therein, and further including a piston slidably disposed in the bore. The brake system further includes a fluid reservoir in selective fluid communication with the bore of the master cylinder. The brake system also includes an isolation valve movable between an open position, wherein fluid is permitted to flow between the master cylinder and the wheel brake, and a closed position, wherein fluid is restricted from flowing between the master cylinder and the wheel brake. The brake system further includes a dump valve movable between a closed position, wherein fluid is prevented from flowing between the wheel brake and the reservoir, and an open position, wherein fluid is permitted to flow between the wheel brake and the reservoir. The brake system additionally including a cut-off valve movable between an open position, wherein fluid is permitted to flow between the dump valve and the reservoir, and a closed position, wherein fluid is restricted from flowing between the dump valve and the reservoir.

    摘要: A hydraulic braking system with slip control, comprising a working piston guided within the brake pressure generator, a booster piston of a hydraulic brake force booster for actuating the working piston at least one wheel brake connected to the brake pressure generator and an electrically excitable auxiliary pressure source adapted to be connected to the brake force booster, a control and regulating electronic unit for detecting the wheel rotating pattern and for controlling the wheel braking pressure by pressure modulating valves. An electronic sensor is provided for detecting the relative movement between the pressure rod and the booster piston, the output signals of which are capable to influence the excitation of the auxiliary pressure source. This will permit the brake force boosting, if need be, to be effected independently of actuation forces put in manually, with anti-locking control/traction slip control functions being readily exercisable at any time.
