    摘要: A toner sorting device includes a device for taking in used toner conveyed from an image forming apparatus and conveying the used toner in one direction, and a device for sifting the used toner conveyed from the intake device to separate reusable toner from the used toner. The sifting device includes a tubular sieve for separating reusable toner from the used toner and a device for holding the sieve so that the sieve is rotatable. The sieve has an opening for receiving the used toner conveyed from the intake device to be moved into the sifting device and an opening for discharging the remaining toner separated from the reusable toner and remaining inside the sifting device. The toner sorting device further includes a device for collecting the reusable toner separated from the used toner by the sifting device and a device for collecting the remaining toner discharged from the sifting device. The toner sorting device further includes a device for accelerating sifting of the used toner by the sifting device.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a toner bank that is configured to hold a large-volume of toner that is ultimately used to develop a latent image formed on a latent image carrier. A developing apparatus develops the latent image into a visible image. The toner is supplied to the toner bank, which need not be located adjacent to the developing apparatus, using a mechanism that prevents the toner from becoming clogged while being transported to the developing apparatus from the toner bank. In the toner bank, more than one toner bottles are vertically set. The toner bottles are individually opened and closed at respective opening portions thereon with an opening/closing mechanism and are rotated so as to discharge toner therefrom. Toner discharged from the toner bottles is dropped into the toner bank and is supplied to a developing apparatus by a flexible toner delivering mechanism having a powder pump unit and a flexible toner supplying pipe.

    摘要: A powder pump includes a case, a diaphragm, a working chamber which is partitioned with the case and the diaphragm, a powder inlet formed on the case for flowing the powder into the working chamber, a powder outlet formed on the case for flowing the powder in the working chamber out of the powder outlet, an inlet valve which opens the powder inlet when pressure in the working chamber is decreased by an operation of the diaphragm so that the powder flows into the working chamber from the powder inlet and shuts the powder inlet when the pressure in the working chamber is raised by the operation of the diaphragm, and an outlet valve which opens an outlet when the pressure in the working chamber is raised by the operation of the diaphragm, so as to let the powder flow through the powder outlet outside of the working chamber and shuts the powder outlet when the pressure in the working chamber is lowered by the operation of the diaphragm. The powder pump further includes a first space which is formed so as to communicate with the working chamber located at a place around a case wall part which partitions the powder inlet, and a second space which is formed so as to communicate with a powder flowing path located at the downstream side of a powder conveying direction from the outlet valve. The powder pump is utilized for conveying the toner in an image forming apparatus.

    摘要: In a mobile terminal of the present invention, when the finger of a user is approaching a touch panel, an estimation coordinate as a position of the finger and an estimation distance as a distance between the finger and the touch panel are determined based on a capacitance value between the finger and the touch panel, and capacitance distribution data showing a distribution of the capacitance values is generated. When the capacitance distribution data is similar to set capacitance distribution data, an object icon, which is arranged in the estimation coordinate, of a plurality of icons displayed on the touch panel is displayed on the touch panel in a size larger than in a basic size. In this way, only when detecting that the finger of the user is approaching the touch panel, the icon which is displayed on the touch panel is displayed in an expansion state. Therefore, a malfunction can be prevented and the improvement of operability can be attempted to the user.
