    摘要: An optical fixing apparatus includes a transport unit that transports a recording medium in a first direction in a first fixing process and a second fixing process subsequent thereto and transports the recording medium in a second direction after the first fixing process and before the second fixing process; a light irradiating unit that irradiates the recording medium with light having a predetermined intensity while the recording medium is transported in the first and second fixing processes; a controller that performs a control so that the intensity of the light is lower than the predetermined intensity in a first period before the end of the first fixing process and a second period after the start of the second fixing process, and so that an area of the recording medium irradiated in the first period and an area of the recording medium irradiated in the second period overlap.

    摘要: An apparatus for printing continuous paper wherein, when a paper uppermost portion sensor produces an unstable output due to the position of the paper in controlling the operation for raising or lowering a table for stacking the continuous paper, the output value is invalidated and the operation for raising or lowering the table is continued. The sensor detects the uppermost position of the paper on the paper table on which the continuous paper carried through a printer unit is folded by a guide member and is stacked, and a control unit controls a moving mechanism relying upon the sensor output to change the distance between the paper table and the guide member. When the sensor is producing an unstable output due to the position of the paper being stacked, the control unit works to continue the operation of the moving mechanism even when the sensor has detected the paper.

    摘要: This invention relates to a printing device that performs fixation after transfer, and which prevents the occurrence of no transfer even when feeding the paper backward starting printing from the next page after the final page. This printing device comprises image-formation units (3, 4) that transfer a toner image, a fixation unit (5), and a control unit (10). The control unit (10) control adjustment of the moisture content on either the final page or leading page. In order to do that, it lowers the fixation energy of the fixation unit (5) for the final page. There is a moisture-adjustment mechanism (16) that reduces the moisture content of the leading page. Heat energy is applied to the leading page by the fixation unit (5). This reduces the difference in the amount of shrinkage between the final page and the leading page, and prevents wrinkling of the leading page.

    摘要: In a multicolor electrostatic recording apparatus in which two or more different color toner images are superimposed by respective electrostatic recording units, each of the electrostatic recording units includes an electrostatic latent image carried, a developer for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the carrier with a color toner, and a detector for detecting a density of the developed image on the basis of a detecting mark which is formed on the carrier as a part of the latent image and developed by the developer. A discriminator which compares the density data with an optional desired density value to discriminate whether the density data falls in an allowable range. A controller for feed-back controlling at least one parameter for determining the density of the developed image so that the density comes to be in the allowable range, when the density falls out of the allowable range. The at least one parameter is memorized as a compensating data for the density of the developed image, when the density falls in the allowable range. Thus, using the compensating data, a process using the parameter for determining the density of the developed image is carried out. The detector for detecting density includes a light emitting section and a light receiving unit.

    摘要: A color image forming apparatus for forming a color image on a sheet by use of a plurality of photosensitive drums. The plurality of photosensitive drums correspond to a plurality of colors and have eccentric phases each shifted by a quantity corresponding to a radius of the photosensitive drum and a distance between transfer positions of the photosensitive drums. The color image forming apparatus also includes a plurality of charging units which correspond to the respective photosensitive drums, for charging the photosensitive drums. An exposure light source effects an image exposure on each photosensitive drum. A plurality of developing units correspond to the respective photosensitive drums, for forming toner images on the photosensitive drums by developing electrostatic latent images on the photosensitive drums. A plurality of transferring units, corresponding to the respective photosensitive drums, transfer the toner images on the photosensitive drums onto the sheet. The eccentric phases of the plurality of photosensitive drums are set the same on the basis of the sheet to be fed, and a color deviation of each color on the sheet can be thereby prevented.
