摘要： A manufacturing method for a band-shaped glass includes a forming step, which forms a band-shaped glass, an annealing step, which performs an annealing treatment on the band-shaped glass, a cooling step, which cools the annealed band-shaped glass, a direction-changing step, which changes a feeding direction of the cooled band-shaped glass from a longitudinal direction to a horizontal direction, and a horizontal conveying step, which conveys the band-shaped glass in the horizontal direction while supporting the band-shaped glass at a horizontal conveyance part. In the horizontal conveying step, the band-shaped glass is conveyed in the horizontal direction while a first propulsion for driving the conveyance in the horizontal direction is provided at both sides in the width direction of the band-shaped glass by the horizontal conveyance part, the first propulsion being larger than a second propulsion provided at a center in the width direction of the band-shaped glass.

摘要： A position control system includes a roller rotatable about a longitudinal axis thereof and a pivotable member having a first member end rotatable about a first pivot axis and a second member end coupled to the roller. The second member end is rotatable about a second pivot axis spaced from the first pivot axis and the first and second pivot axes are movable relative to one another. A motor is adapted to move the roller along the longitudinal axis wherein movement of the roller along the longitudinal axis causes the pivotable member to pivot the roller relative to the longitudinal axis. A control system is responsive to a sensed parameter for controlling the motor. A position control method is also disclosed.

摘要： A meandering correction device for a roll medium includes: a first roll medium conveyance unit; a second roll medium conveyance unit disposed downstream of the first roll medium conveyance unit in a conveyance path for a roll medium; a meandering correction roller located between the first roll medium conveyance unit and the second roll medium conveyance unit in the conveyance path and being vertically downwardly in contact with the roll medium to thereby apply a tension to the roll medium. The meandering correction roller includes a rotational shaft whose direction is changeable. A change in the direction of the rotational shaft causes a position of the roll medium in contact with the meandering correction roller to move in the direction of the rotational shaft.

The machine includes a device for supplying the web having a pair of superimposed parallel guide rollers arranged transversely on opposite sides with respect to the web and whose angular position with respect to the advancement direction of the web is adjustable. The two guide rollers have a superficial shape suitable to avoid both the formation of irregularities of the web—such as folds and creases—as well as the damaging of the openable closure.
