    摘要： A sheet processing apparatus has a sheet conveyor and sheet processing unit for performing a predetermined process to the sheet conveyed by that sheet conveyor. A sheet discharger discharges the processed sheet to a stacking unit, the unit having a cover which may be opened or closed and which includes a detector for detecting whether or not the cover is opened and closed, and a controller will immediately stop, in a case where the discharge process to the sheet that is performed by the discharge unit, driving of the sheet discharge unit and sheet conveyor when it is detected that the cover is opened and for continuing, in a case where the discharge process to the sheet is not performed by the sheet discharge unit, the driving of the sheet conveyor in spite of the detection that the cover is open.

    摘要： A sheet sorting apparatus includes a plurality of trays for accommodating sheets; a helical cam device, engageable with a cam follower for moving the plurality of trays; a cam driving device for driving the helical cam device; a sheet set processing device movable between processing position and a retracted position where the processing device doe snot interfere with the plurality of trays; a reversible driving device for advancing or retracting the sheet set processing device; and a controlling device for controlling the driving device; wherein a cam surface of the helical cam is constituted of substantially horizontal portions and slanted portions; and the cam driving device and the driving device are controlled by the controlling device, in such a manner that the sheet set processing device starts to enter a processing position when the cam follower shifts from the slanted portions to the horizontal portions, and the entering operation ends by the time the cam follower reaches the middle portion of the horizontal portion, and that the cam driving device is deactivated when the cam follower is substantially at a middle portion of the horizontal portions, and after sheet set processing, the cam driving device and the driving device are actuated, and the sheet set processing device is retracted from a moving path region of the tray by the time the cam follower passes through the remaining portion of the horizontal portions.

    摘要： A digital valve control apparatus for regulating opening of a digital valve by a pulse motor, comprising means for setting desired position and displacement speed of the pulse motor and means for selecting the set position and the set speed in response to instruction signals. While pulses having period corresponding to the set speed are produced by a frequency divider, the present position of the pulse motor is compared with the set position by a comparator. The pulses are fed to a counter which counts up or down to supply the output for driving the pulse motor until the comparator produces the coincident output.

    摘要： A sheet original feeding apparatus comprises a sheet original stacking tray on which sheet originals to be treated are stacked as an original stack. A sheet original separator separates and supplies the sheet original one by one from the bottom of the original stack stacked on the sheet original stacking tray. A sheet original feeding path is provided for directing the sheet original separated by the sheet original separator. A sheet original feeder feeds in a forward direction the sheet original directed by the original feeding path to an image reading portion. The sheet original feeding means is also operable in a reverse direction, and the sheet original feeding path is arranged at one side of the sheet original feeder. A first sheet original ejecting path is further provided for returning the sheet original fed in the reverse direction by the sheet original feeder to the sheet original stacking tray from a same side of the sheet original feeder as the sheet original feeding path. A second sheet original ejecting path returns the sheet original fed in the forward direction by the sheet original feeder to the sheet original stacking tray. The second sheet original ejection path is arranged at a side opposite to the sheet original feeder means as the sheet original feeding path.

A priority circuit including a priority encoder or priority chain is provided in an input section for set point select and change-over instruction signals from an external sequential controller.
