    摘要: A method and an apparatus for melt-spinning and cooling a plurality of filaments which are processed to form a non-woven fabric or web. The filaments are guided after extrusion in the form of a filament curtain through a cooling zone and are cooled by a cooling air stream blown transversely to the filament curtain. In order to prevent the flow effects created by air swirls in the side edge zones of the filament curtain, an additional quenching air stream acts inside the cooling zone on each side edge of the filament curtain. For this purpose, the inventive apparatus comprises a quenching member positioned below each longitudinal end of the spinneret.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for strengthening a running non-woven web. For this purpose, the non-woven web is penetrated by a plurality of fluid streams. In order to create a surface structure, the fluid streams are generated by a movable nozzle beam, which is guided back and forth at a defined amplitude substantially transversely to the running direction of the non-woven web. In order to obtain enough flexibility and a sufficient volume in the non-woven web in spite of the strengthening effect, the amplitude for moving the fluid streams back and forth is selected in such a way according to the invention that the points of impact created in the non-woven web by adjacent fluid streams do not intersect an imaginary separating line in the running direction. To this avail, the amplitude of the back and forth movement of the nozzle beam is adjusted so as to be smaller than half the distance between two nozzle outlets disposed next to each other in the row.

    摘要: A device and method for producing a spun-bonded non-woven. A molten polymer supplied to a spinning beam from a melt source is extruded through a multiplicity of linearly arranged spinneret bores into filaments arranged in the form of a curtain. A tensile force is exerted on the filaments by means of a draw-off nozzle. The filaments are thereupon deposited on to a conveyer belt where they form a spun-bonded non-woven. At the draw-off nozzle, a monitoring means is provided which detects a characteristic quantity characteristic of the process. One or more structure-borne sound sensors are preferably used as monitoring means. The measurement result of the monitoring means, after a desired value comparison, is supplied to a signal means or is used for regulating the process.

In order to obtain a desired configuration on both surfaces of the web, the collecting gap is extended by two opposing feed belts which cooperate with the feed rollers to shape the sheet upstream of the perforated support.
