    摘要: A method and an apparatus produces intertwining knots in a multifilament thread. In this case, an air-stream pulse is directed through a nozzle opening transversely onto the thread. In order to produce a continuous succession of intertwining knots, the air-stream pulse is produced periodically with an interval between the air-stream pulses. In order to be able to produce an irregular thread structure, the interval between successive air-stream pulses is continuously changed. To this end, the apparatus has a nozzle ring carrying the nozzle opening, the nozzle ring being coupled to a drive. The drive of the nozzle ring is assigned a control device, by way of which a rotary speed of the nozzle ring is controllable for the purpose of changing an interval between the air-stream pulses.

To be able to influence the yarn plug formation mainly by the suction stream, the invention provides for constructing the source of vacuum as an injector, which connects to a source of pressure via a pressure connection and to a suction line via a suction connection that precedes in the direction of the flow. As a result, the suction stream of the conveying fluid is generated by a compressed air stream, with the compressed air stream and the suction stream being jointly discharged as a common airflow.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for stuffer box crimping a multifilament yarn consisting of one or more fiber bundles, wherein a conveying fluid is introduced into a yarn channel via a plurality of fluid feed channels, with each channel carrying a partial flow. The yarn is pneumatically taken into the yarn channel, and guided, and possibly twisted in the yarn channel by the conveying fluid, and subsequently advanced into a stuffer box chamber. Inside the stuffer box chamber, the yarn is formed into a plug which is compressed and advanced, with the conveying fluid emerging from the stuffer box chamber through side openings. To influence the actions of the conveying fluid on the yarn within the yarn channel, at least one of the fluid feed channels is configured such that the partial flows of the conveying fluid are introduced from the fluid feed channels into the yarn channel under the action of different overpressures.

In such techniques, an air stream pulse is generated by a nozzle channel opening into a treatment channel periodically with an interval between successive air stream pulses. During an interval, the air stream pulse is directed transversely onto the thread guided in the treatment channel so that a continuous sequence of intertwining knots is produced in the running thread. An auxiliary air stream is generated continuously or discontinuously and the auxiliary air stream and the air stream pulse are blown in together into the treatment channel.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus involves crimping a multifilament thread, wherein the thread which is produced by melt spinning is compressed to a thread plug. The thread plug is cast on the circumference of rotating processing drum for thermal treatment and is wrapped around the circumference of the processing drum with many side-by-side wraparounds. Following that, the thread plug is unravelled in an unraveling area on the circumference of the processing drum into the crimped thread which is pulled of the processing drum. To obtain a continuous and regular unraveling of the thread plug with multiple wraparounds and mutual touching of the wraparounds of the thread plug, the thread is guided at a slant from the unraveling area of the thread plug such that a growing axial space appears between the thread and the thread plug, on the circumference of the processing drum, during increasing wraparounds of the thread on the circumference of the processing drum.
