Abstract: The embodiments disclose a method including functionalizing a biosensor with a biologic analytical target prior to installation into a detection cartridge, depositing a test subject bodily fluid test sample onto the biosensor surface, inserting the detection cartridge into a portable detection cartridge reader, measuring the electrical impedance of the bodily fluid test sample across biosensor energized electrodes, providing algorithms for analyzing measured electrical impedance data of the bodily fluid test sample obtained in the detection cartridge, identifying and determining the presence of biologic analytical target molecules in the bodily fluid test sample, and transmitting results of the test results to the test subject.

Abstract: Detection and real-time reporting (via wireless to a remote receiver) of the release of harmful or otherwise unwanted chemicals or chemicals of corrosion into the environment and, more particularly, the undesired release of such chemicals from pipelines, supporting energy/electric/heating/cooling/storage/distribution infrastructure, refineries, chemical plants, factories, processing and manufacturing plants and equipment, storage tanks, engines, containers and the like. One or more detection devices can be placed nearby potential areas where leaks occur, or anywhere monitoring for leaks is desired. In some embodiments, the detection devices are integrated into components for monitoring said component for unwanted emissions.

Abstract: A monitoring system and method for any type of fluid system. Exemplary fluid systems include: sanitary and/or storm sewer systems, hydrological power generation, heating and cooling systems; energy exploration, excavation and transmission, specifically hydraulic fracturing known as “fracking”. The system and method utilize chemical sensors and other detection devices, a power source and circuitry to communicate with hand-held devices and/or other local or remote data terminals. Since sewers and other water infrastructure are often used to dispose, transport, store and transform liquids or other materials in addition to human waste and/or waste fluids from other human activity, monitoring effluent and chemical composition of liquids can provide data useful for a wide range of purposes.
