    摘要: Toner for developing an electrostatic latent image comprising (a) a polyester resin of a non-linear copolymer having, as its side chain, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing therein 3 to 22 carbon atoms, said copolymer being obtained from polymerization of an etherified bisphenol monomer, a di-carboxilic acid monomer, and a polyhydric alcohol of tri-hydric or more and/or a monomer component containing a polycarboxylic acid monomer of tricarboxylic acid or more carboxylic or more, and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (b) an alkylene-bis-aliphatic acid amide compound represented by the general formula; ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently selected from saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon groups having not less than 10 carbon atoms, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently selected from a hydrogen atom and a group represented by --OCR.sub.5 wherein R.sub.5 is a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group and n is a positive integer and (c) a wax containing not less than 20% by weight of ester component, the needle penetration degree of wax being not more than 4.

    摘要: A method of fixing a toner image on a supporting member by bringing the supporting member supporting thereon the toner image into pressure contact with a fixing roller, wherein an elasticity improving agent for increasing the elasticity of the toner upon coming into contact with the toner is disposed on a member which comes into direct or indirect contact with the outer circumferential surface of the fixing roller.The elasticity improving agent is a material causing the reaction which increases the molecular weight of the binder resin of the binder and/or a reaction promoter for such a reaction.The elasticity improving agent is selected from a group consisting of:(a) agents which are capable of enhancing the elasticity of toner material,(b) polyhydric alcohols,(c) polyvalent amines and(d) polyvalent carboxylic acids.

    摘要: In a method for the formation of images such as an electrophotographic method in which toners are used, when a heat roller is used for fixing toner images, the durability and the heat efficiency of the heat roller is improved reducing the wall thickness of the cylindrical metal of the heat roller, shortening the warming-up time, using a material having a substantial Young's modulus, and by shortening the outer diameter of the cylindrical metal, respectively.With respect to toners specifically used for the above, stains on an image carrier are prevented by making use of a binder that is fused at a heating temperature of the heat-fixing roller and is increased in the elasticity of the toner at the same temperature or higher. Such binders may be obtained by copolymerizing a polyhydric alcohol and/or a polyhydric amine, and a polyhydric carboxylic acid.

As the antioxidant, a compound having a hidered phenolic group is preferably used as the antioxidant.
