    摘要: Method and apparatus for protecting processing elements from buffer overflow attacks are provided. The apparatus includes a memory stack for, upon execution of a jump to subroutine, storing a return address in a first location in a stack memory. A second location separate from the stack memory for storing an address of the first location and a third location separate from the stack memory for storing the return address itself are included. A first comparator upon completion of the subroutine, compares the address stored in the second location to the first location in the stack memory and a first interrupt generator provides an interrupt signal if locations are not the same. A second comparator looks at the return address stored in the third location and the return address stored in the first location in the stack memory and has a second interrupt generator for generating an interrupt signal if addresses are not the same. A further method and apparatus for protecting processing elements from buffer overflow attacks includes a memory stack for, upon execution of a jump to subroutine in a first processor, storing a return address in a first location in a stack memory and a second location separate from the stack memory for storing results for the subroutine operation. Also included is a second processor including routines for data manipulation associated with the subroutine, separate from the first processor and for storing any resultant data in the second location, which is readable by the first processor separate from the stack memory.

To permit cooling air to be drawn through the passage around the deflecting structure and into the engine compartment, an air deflecting structure is positioned above the sound wave deflecting structure.

    摘要: When treating a patient, clinical decision support system (CDSS) guidelines are employed to assist a physician in generating a treatment plan. These plans are generated using both imaging and non-imaging data. To accomplish this, the CDSS is interfaced with imaging systems (CADx, CAD, PACS etc.). A data-mining operation is performed to identify relevant patients with similar attributes such as diagnosis, medical history, treatment, etc from imaging and non-imaging data. Natural language processing is employed to extract and encode relevant non-imaging (textual) data from relevant patients' records. Additionally, an image of a current patient is compared to reference images in a patient database to identify relevant patients. Relevant patients are then identified to a user, and the user selects a relevant patient to view detailed information related to medical history, treatment, guidelines, efficacy, and the like.

    摘要: A high-speed clock delay circuit in which an external differential digital clock signal is connected to a pair of differentially connected, current switching transistors. Emitter follower drivers couple the switching transistors to differential delayed clock output terminals. A pair of diodes cross-coupled between the differential output terminals and the switching transistors provide a relatively large Miller Effect capacitance, the charging and discharging of which provides a delay in the switching of the transistor pair, as measured differentially. Changing the charging and discharging current through the emitter follower driver, changes the bias across the diodes and thus changes their effective capacitance.

    摘要: Lift structure particularly useful with front mounted implements for providing both lift and weight transfer functions from a single valve. The valve acts as an adjustable bleeder for the lift cylinder and includes a control knob which is movable both axially and rotationally to respectively provide lift and adjustable flotation. The valve is normally biased to an adjustable orifice position for operating the implement in a lowered, flotation position. To momentarily lift the implement, the operator moves the control knob against the bias to direct flow to the lift cylinder thereby raising the implement off the ground. When the operator releases the valve, it automatically returns to the preset orifice position to provide the desired flotation.
