    摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided for plasma-assisted processing multiple work pieces in a manufacturing line. In one embodiment, the method can include placing the work pieces in movable carriers, moving the carriers on a conveyor into an irradiation zone, flowing a gas into the irradiation zone, igniting the gas in the irradiation zone to form a plasma (e.g., by subjecting the gas to electromagnetic radiation in the presence of a plasma catalyst), sustaining the plasma for a period of time sufficient to at least partially plasma process at least one of the work pieces in the irradiation zone, and advancing the conveyor to move the at least one plasma-processed work piece out of the irradiation zone. Various types of plasma catalysts are also provided.

    摘要： A system and method of carburizing a surface region of an object includes subjecting a gas to electromagnetic radiation, generated from a radiation source (52), in the presence of a plasma catalyst (70) to initiate a plasma containing carbon. The method also includes exposing the surface region of the object to the plasma for a period of time sufficient to transfer at least some of the carbon from the plasma to the object through the first surface region.

The apparatus includes a clutch basket, a clutch pack capable of coupling the clutch basket with a center clutch, a pressure plate axially moveable toward the clutch pack, and a top plate coupled to a rotating hub. The rotating hub is configured to pass through an opening in the pressure plate. The apparatus also includes at least one centrifugal actuating member disposed between the pressure plate and the top plate, and at least one spring disposed between the rotating hub and the center clutch to bias the pressure plate relative to the top plate.     摘要： A throttle body includes a secondary passageway having an inlet communicating with a central passageway upstream of a throttle plate disposed in the central passageway. An outlet communicates with an intake manifold of the engine downstream of the throttle plate to allow fluid flow to bypass the throttle plate. A pocket is formed in the throttle body and a seat is formed at the bottom of the pocket to communicate with the secondary passageway. A motor is disposed within the pocket and secured to the throttle body and cooperates with the seat for metering predetermined amounts of fluid flow past the seat. An opening is formed intersecting with the pocket and the outlet to form an internal flow path within the throttle body to allow fluid flow past the seat to flow through the outlet and bypass the throttle plate when in the closed position.

    摘要： A loading assembly includes an elongated rod connected to a load bearing structure. A ramp is selectively movable toward and away from the rod for attaching and detaching, respectively, with respect to the load bearing structure. A latch is connected to the ramp and movable between a first position and a second position with respect to the ramp. The latch automatically moves from the first position to the second position to trap the rod between the latch and the ramp when the ramp is moved toward the rod and the latch contacts the rod, thereby attaching the ramp with respect to the load-bearing structure. The latch automatically moves from the second position to the first position to release the rod from between the latch and the ramp when the ramp is moved away from the rod, thereby detaching the ramp with respect to the load bearing structure.

Handle means are provided at both ends of the container whereby a worker may pull the full container along the ground by the front handle means, and subsequently dump the debris from the container by lifting upwardly on the back handle means.
