摘要: The present invention relates generally to the field of polymer dispersion coated, paper-based flexible packaging materials. In particular, the present invention relates to improving the barrier properties of polymer dispersion coated 5 paper-based flexible packaging materials. Embodiments of the present invention relate to a process for improving the barrier properties of polymer dispersion coated paper-based flexible packaging materials comprising the step of applying an Al2O3 coating to at least one surface of the dispersion coated paper-based flexible packaging materials, for example by using atomic layer deposition; and an Al2O3-coated paper material 10 obtainable by such a process.

摘要: There is provided a fiber body manufacturing method including an accumulating step of forming the web by accumulating a material containing fibers and starch or dextrin on the first transport belt by a dry method; a transport step of transporting the web by peeling off a first surface of the web from the first transport belt, and by bringing a second surface of the web, which is a surface opposite to the first surface peeled off from the first transport belt, into contact with the second transport belt; a water-applying step of applying the water to the web which is in contact with the first transport belt or the second transport belt; and a heating step of heating the web by bringing the heating section into contact with the web peeled off from the second transport belt, and forming a fiber body by binding the fibers with the starch or dextrin, in which the web peeled off from the second transport belt is directly supplied to the heating section.

摘要: A method to produce dried single-layer or multi-layer paper is disclosed. The method comprises, for a single-layer paper, preparing and spraying a partially dehydrated first fibrous web with a spray solution or suspension to give a sprayed partially dehydrated first fibrous web, and dehydrating the sprayed partially dehydrated first fibrous web by applying heat to form a dried single-layer paper; or, for a multi-layer paper, preparing and spraying a partially dehydrated layer compound with a spray solution or suspension to form a sprayed layer compound, and dehydrating the sprayed layer compound by applying heat to form a dried multi-layer paper. The spray solution or suspension comprises water and at least one water-soluble polymer P, which is obtained by polymerizing: (i) a monomer of formula H2CCHNHC(0)R1, where R1 is H or C1-C6- alkyl; and (ii) one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers different from monomer (i).

According to the present invention, a wet web comprising MFC is formed, followed by addition of particles having an average diameter of at least 1 μm to the wet web, followed by dewatering and/or drying. The wet web may be formed for example by wet laid or cast forming methods. The particles may be added to the wet web for example by cast coating or spraying.
