摘要: A raster image target tracking method, the raster image being a binary raster image or a targeted contone raster image, may include determining target information that corresponds to a target device for the raster image, saving the target information in a memory, comprising the raster image target device to a processing device by which the document is to be processed, and providing a warning message when the document target device does not correspond to the processing device. Also, a compound document analysis and target tracking method may include providing a compound document, analyzing each object of the compound document to determine target information, saving the target information in a memory, comparing the target devices of the respective objects to each other, and providing a warning message to a user when the target devices of the respective objects do not correspond to each other.

摘要: A method for determining a toner usage estimate for a print job to be performed by a printing system having at least one print engine and at least one controller includes determining a set of print conditions for the print job and selecting a set of parameters associated with the print conditions. The method further includes estimating a total amount of toner usage for each of the print job's pages. The set of parameters may include image rendering, job dependent and engine dependent parameters.

摘要: A prepress application may reduce the amount of time required to view and correct the alignment of page content within a digital image of an electronic document, such as a book, by allowing the operator to visualize a book in three dimensions (3-D), thereby enabling more pages to be viewed at one time. The application may include modules for rendering a 3-D image, moving within a virtual 3-D environment, and editing the document.

摘要: The present invention comprises a collapsible hanger and a method for using the same for supporting, among other things, cables from the ceiling of mines. The collapsible hangers of the present invention allow the cables to fall to the floor when tension, pressure, and/or weight is applied to the hangers, either directly or indirectly.

摘要: Systems and methods for performing digital image stabilization implemented in a digital camera. The digital camera includes a gyroscope to measure motion of the digital camera and processes the signals from the gyroscope to track the total displacement of an image sensor over a series of frames of video. The algorithm implemented by the digital camera includes a processing block for correcting a DC bias in the signals from the gyroscope, a filter for attenuating the signals during periods of high acceleration, a processing block for detecting the start of a panning motion, and a processing block for quickly retracing the digital image stabilization correction back to the center of the image sensor during a panning motion.

摘要: Methods of treating a mammal that is deficient in CD4+ and/or CD8+ lymphocytes are provided. The methods comprise inoculating the mammal with an attenuated mycobacterium in the M. tuberculosis complex. In these methods, the mycobacterium comprises two deletions, wherein a virulent mycobacterium in the M. tuberculosis complex having either deletion exhibits attenuated virulence. Use of these mycobacteria for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of mammals deficient in CD4+ and/or CD8+ lymphocytes is also provided.
