摘要: An introducer catheter and needle guard assembly combination used with a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) is disclosed. The needle guard assembly includes a sliding needle hub for positively locking a needle in the needle guard assembly. The introducer catheter includes a tube portion and connector that can be divided into two halves. The needle guard assembly is secured to the introducer catheter and the extended needle and introducer catheter are inserted into the body of a patient. The needle and needle guard assembly can then be removed from the introducer catheter. A PICC line or other similar line can then be inserted through the catheter tube and into the patient. The tube portion and connector of the catheter are then divided into two halves so that the entire introducer catheter can be removed from the PICC line, or other similar line, that is inserted into the body of a patient.

摘要: The present invention provides a system and method for bi-directional synchronization of a cache. One embodiment of the system of this invention includes a software program stored on a computer readable medium. The software program can be executed by a computer processor to receive a database asset from a database; store the database asset as a cached file in a cache; determine if the cached file has been modified; and if the cached file has been modified, communicate the cached file directly to the database. The software program can poll a cached file to determine if the cached file has changed. Thus, bi-directional synchronization can occur.

摘要: The present invention was created with the goal of uniting disparate applications into a single dashboard having a single user experience or interface—in other words, uniting disparate applications into a single pane of glass. The system is used to manage a plurality of software services and includes: a range management interface for creating and managing one or more roles, for assigning one or more application privileges to each role, for assigning one or more permissions to each of the one or more privileges, and for assigning one or more persons to each of the one or more roles; a user messaging interface for facilitating direct communications between the one or more persons; an event calendar for visualizing time sensitive events; a system-wide alert functionality for providing one or more alerts to all persons associated with the system; and a software integrations interface for adding one or more applications that are managed by the range management interface. Methods for creating one or more roles, methods for registering applications with the system, and methods for creating and displaying a dashboard are also provided that may be utilized within the system for managing a plurality of software services.

摘要: An electronic device enclosure for retail shopping carts is disclosed having a cart mounting bracket attached to the side of a shopping cart near the front handle cross bar that does not interfere with the nesting of the cart as it was designed. An enclosure comprising a housing for an electronic device such as a tablet computer has a mounting bracket being incorporated into the rear of the housing and further having a mounting arm containing secured locking means to securely seat into the cart mounting bracket. The apparatus further contains means of transmitting via NFC to a CPU or to one of several networked CPU beacons docking confirmation and location data. The cart mount bracket is designed to withstand prolonged outdoor weather conditions without malfunctioning.

摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein provide a cache management system comprising a cache and a cache manager that can poll cached assets at different frequencies based on their relative activity status and independent of other applications. In one embodiment, the cache manager may maintain one or more lists, each corresponding to a polling layer associated with a particular polling schedule or frequency. Cached assets may be added to or removed from a list or they may be promoted or demoted to a different list, thereby changing their polling frequency. By polling less active files at a lower frequency than more active files, significant system resources can be saved, thereby increasing overall system speed and performance. Additionally, because a cache manager according to embodiments disclosed herein does not require detailed contextual information about the files that it is managing, such a cache manager can be easily implemented with any cache.

摘要: The present invention provides a system and method for optimizing a cache that substantially eliminates reduces the disadvantages of previously developed cache management systems. More particularly, embodiments of the present invention provide a system of optimizing a cache by polling cached assets with a frequency dependent of the relative activity of a cached asset. An embodiment of the method of the system includes the steps of: (i) polling a cached asset according to a first schedule to determine if the cached asset has been active within a first predefined period of time; (ii) if the cached asset has not been active, polling the cached asset according to a second schedule to determine if the cached asset has been inactive for at least a second predefined period of time; (iii) demoting the cached asset to less active status; and (iv) if the cached asset has been inactive for at least within the second predefined period of time, demoting the cached asset to inactive status. In one embodiment of the present invention, if the cached asset has been active within the second predefined period of time, the cached asset can again be polled according to the first frequency. The frequency with which the cached asset can be polled according to the first and second schedule can be a matter of optimization. Polling according to the first schedule can occur at a greater frequency than polling according to the second schedule. Thus, more active assets can be polled more often than less active assets.

摘要: The present invention provides a system and method of synchronizing a cache that substantially eliminates or reduces disadvantages associated with previously developed systems and methods of synchronizing caches. More particularly, embodiments of the present invention provide a system and method for bi-directional synchronization of a cache. One embodiment of the system of this invention includes a software program stored on a computer readable medium. The software program can be executed by a computer processor to run in user space and perform steps comprising: receiving a database asset from a database; storing the database asset as a cached file in a cache; determining if the cached file has been modified; and if the cached file has been modified, communicate the cached file directly to the database. In one embodiment of the present invention, the software program can determine if the cached file has been modified through automatic notification from a file management system. Alternatively, the software program can poll a cached file to determine if the cached file has changed. In another embodiment of the present invention, the software program can be further executable to perform the step of prompting an operating system to open the cached file in an application associated with the cached file's file type. In yet another embodiment of the present invention, the software program can be further executable to receive notifications from a database of when contention for a database asset occurs. Thus, bi-directional synchronization can occur.

摘要: An apparatus for assisting a human translator includes a source text module, a translator workspace module, a parsing module, a selection module, and a glossary module. The source text module receives source text in a source language. The translator workspace module displays a translator workspace field that is editable by a user. The parsing module parses the source text received by the source text module into separate portions. The selection module selects a first portion (first selected portion) of the separate portions for translation. The glossary module displays a term for term translation of the first selected portion of source text in a target language.
