摘要: A regulated power apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes an input power converting circuit configured for receiving a rectified voltage and for generating an increased voltage. An intermediate power regulating circuit generates a regulated voltage that has a lower voltage than a minimum output voltage of the input power converting circuit. The intermediate power regulating circuit is coupled to receive the increased voltage. An output power converting circuit is coupled with the intermediate power regulating circuit. The output power converting circuit receives the regulated voltage and generates an output voltage that is lower than the regulated voltage. The output power converting circuit comprises a buck converter configured to operate at a fixed duty cycle. A regulation circuit is coupled with the intermediate power regulating circuit and coupled with the output power converting circuit.

摘要: It is presented a method, executed in a media receiver connected to a media server in parallel via an internet protocol, IP, network and a cable television network. The method comprises the steps of: sending a media setup message to a middleware server, the media setup message comprising a content identifier, IP routing data and cable television routing data; receiving a setup confirmation message from the middleware server, the setup confirmation message comprising a transport indicator indicating which one of the IP network and the cable television network is to be used for media streaming from the media server to the media receiver; and receiving a media stream from the media server using either the IP network or the cable television network, as indicated by the transport indicator. Corresponding media receiver, middleware server, computer programs and computer program products are also presented.

摘要: A clock distribution system for low power operation. Such a clock distribution system includes a global clock generation circuit coupled to generate a global clock signal. This global clock signal is received by a local clock generation circuit which generates a local clock signal. While the system has an operating voltage generally used throughout the system, at least one of the global clock signal and the local clock signal is a small swing clock signal which has a voltage swing substantially less than the operating voltage of the system.

摘要: Electrical devices, particularly circuit protection devices, contain conductive polymer elements whose edges are formed by breaking the conductive polymer element, along a desired path, without the introduction of any solid body into the element. The resulting cohesive failure of the conductive polymer produces a distinctive fractured surface. One method of preparing such devices involves etching fracture channels in the electrodes of a plaque containing a PTC conductive polymer element sandwiched between metal foil electrodes, and then snapping the plaque along the fracture channels to form individual devices.

摘要: The methods and apparatus described herein encrypt an unencrypted binary string using an encryption key and a varying-radix conversion method. The encryption key is used to parse the unencrypted binary string into unencrypted sub-strings. The varying-radix conversion method is used to transform the unencrypted sub-strings into encrypted sub-strings. The encrypted sub-strings may then be concatenated together to produce an encrypted binary string. In addition, the reverse process is employed to recover the unencrypted binary string from the encrypted binary string. For example, the decryption process may occur after the encrypted binary string is transmitted over a network communications system.
