    Abstract: A master clock signal for an image capture device and a light emission device is accessed. The master clock signal is divided to generate a high frequency clock signal. A frame timer is used to measure a frame time of the image capture device based on cycles of the high frequency clock signal. Based on an exposure timing signal from the image capture device, estimating an exposure start time for the image capture device; is estimated. Based on the estimated starting time, the light emission device begins emission of a positional tracking pattern at the estimated starting time and for a duration determined by the measured frame time of the image capture device.

    Abstract: Described herein is a technique for deriving and using a member profile-to-job posting graph that includes a plurality of implicit facets that map member profiles to job postings. Each implicit facet is a combination of member profile attributes linked with job profile attributes, such that a member profile is linked to the implicit facet when the member profile has member profile attribute values that match those of the implicit facet, and a job posting is linked to the implicit facet when the job posting has job attribute values that match those of the implicit facet. Using the graph, information about the potential applicant pool for a new job posting can be derived and presented to the person who is creating the new job posting.

    Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to dynamically controlling light sources on an optically trackable peripheral device. One disclosed example provides a near-eye display device comprising an image sensor, a communications subsystem, a logic subsystem, and a storage subsystem. The storage subsystem stores instructions executable by the logic subsystem to control a peripheral device comprising a plurality of light sources by receiving image data from the image sensor, identifying in the image data a constellation of light sources formed by a subset of light sources of the peripheral device, and based upon the constellation of light sources identified, send to the peripheral device via the communications subsystem constellation information related to the constellation of light sources identified.

    Abstract: Described herein is a technique for generating data for a computer system. An apparatus comprises a high-speed communication bus, a memory unit communicatively coupled to the high-speed communication bus, an integrated circuit communicatively coupled to the high-speed communication bus, the integrated circuit to execute a machine learned model trained to receive input data and generate a set of implicit keywords from the input data to support a network service, and an implicit facet mapper to map the input data to an implicit facet of a knowledge graph, a database communicatively coupled to the high-speed communication bus, the database to store the set of implicit keywords and implicit facet in a data structure, and a network interface communicatively coupled to the high-speed communication bus to access a wireless network.
