摘要: A method of producing a mainly carbonate bonded article includes a step of providing an alkaline granular material having one or more alkaline earth metal silicate phases. The method includes a step of compacting the granular material to obtain a compact of the granular material. The porosity of the compact is smaller than or equal to 37% by volume. The intrinsic permeability of the compact is at least 1·10−12 cm2. The method also includes a reacting step arranged to form at least 5% by weight of carbonates (CO32−), by reacting the granular material with carbon dioxide in the presence of water, thus transforming the compact into the article. In the reacting step, the compact, being unsaturated with moisture at the beginning of the reacting step, is brought in an atmosphere having carbon dioxide. The atmosphere is at a temperature of at least 70° C. and at a pressure of at least 0.5 MPa. The pressure is also higher than the saturated vapor pressure of water at the temperature. As a result, at least a portion of the carbonates are formed by reaction of the one or more alkaline earth metal silicate phases. Articles are also obtained by the method.

摘要: The invention relates to a method of calculating an electrical output of a wind power plant comprising a plurality of wind turbines. Instead of calculating the electrical output of the wind power plant as a simple aggregation of the outputs of each wind turbine, the method takes into account parameters which may vary stochastically throughout the wind power plant, e.g. pitch angle, stiffness in drive train, different possible production with regard to reactive and active effect, mechanical component properties as well as variability in relation to communication times between a power plant controller and the individual wind turbines. The method proposes to make adjustment to a simple aggregation calculation method based on analysis of such stochastic varying parameters.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for controlling a voltage level of a power supply grid operationally connected to a source of electrical power, the method comprising the steps of determining a short circuit impedance of the power supply grid at a point of common coupling, calculating, using the determined short circuit impedance, a gain value of the power supply grid, and controlling the grid voltage level in accordance with the calculated gain value by applying said gain value as a gain parameter in a voltage controller. The method according to the present invention may be implemented as a method for configuring a voltage controller once and for all, or it may be implemented as a method for adaptively adjusting a gain of a voltage controller.

摘要: The Invention is an apparatus and method for charging a dry ice drinking vessel with dry ice. A dry ice drinking vessel has a dry ice chamber communicating with an interior of the dry ice drinking vessel through perforations. A body selectably holds a filter in engagement with a perforation of the dry ice chamber. Liquid carbon dioxide is discharged from a pressure vessel through a valve and flashes into carbon dioxide gas, a portion of which freezes to dry ice. The carbon dioxide gas and dry ice flow through an orifice into the dry ice chamber. The dry ice is prevented from leaving the dry ice chamber by the filter.
