摘要： A display substrate includes a base substrate, a thin-film transistor (TFT), a pixel electrode, a pad part, and a cell-gap compensating part. The base substrate has a display region, a seal region surrounding the display region, and a peripheral region surrounding the seal region. The TFT is in the display region. The pixel electrode is connected to a drain electrode of the TFT and contacts the base substrate. The pad part is interposed between a first side of the base substrate and the seal region and is connected to the TFT through a first transmission line. The cell-gap compensating part is in the seal region and includes a compensating pattern adjacent to a second side of the base substrate and an insulating pattern on the compensating pattern.

摘要： A lens panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a first base substrate, a first electrode formed on the first base substrate, and a first alignment layer formed on the first electrode. The first alignment layer includes a plurality of unit alignment areas forming a lens unit and is aligned to have a first azimuth angle and a plurality of first polarized angles. The first polarized angles vary in the unit alignment area. The second substrate includes a second base substrate, a second electrode formed on the second base substrate, and a second alignment layer aligned to have a second azimuth angle and a second polarized angle. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate.

The first power line, the second power line and the third power line overlap the first sub-pixel, the second sub-pixel, and the third sub-pixel, respectively.

摘要： The present invention discloses an alignment substrate that includes a base substrate and an alignment layer arranged on the base substrate. A plurality of unit pixels is defined in the base substrate. The alignment layer includes at least two sub-alignment portions dividing the unit pixel into at least two domains. Each sub-alignment portion is arranged in a different domain of the at least two domains and is aligned to have a different pretilt direction from the other sub-alignment portions.

摘要： A display substrate includes a transparent plate and a liquid crystal dispersion adjuster. The display substrate includes a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. The liquid crystal dispersion adjuster is formed in the peripheral area to modify the movement of the liquid crystal. The dispersion adjuster includes enhancing parts and a suppression part. The enhancing parts increase the dispersion of the liquid crystal, and the suppression part reduces the dispersion of the liquid crystal, thereby reducing non-filling area of the liquid crystal and the contamination of a seal-line.

摘要： In a liquid crystal display, a first alignment layer formed on a first substrate includes a first region aligned in a first direction and a second region aligned in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a second alignment layer formed on a second substrate facing the first substrate includes a third region aligned in a third direction different from the first direction and a fourth region aligned in a fourth direction opposite to the third direction. The liquid crystal molecules interposed between the first and second alignment layers are aligned in different directions in different domains defined by the first to fourth regions. A pixel electrode includes an extension part extending in at least one of the first to fourth directions. The aperture ratio and the light transmittance of the liquid crystal display are improved.

摘要： In a display device, first and second substrates parallel to each other are arranged between first and second polarizers that are parallel to each other. A liquid crystal layer is arranged between the first and second substrates, and a light emitting layer having a quantum dot structure is arranged on the first polarizer. Also, a light source that emits a blue light is arranged under the second polarizer. Thus, the display device may improve a light utilizing efficiency, thereby improving a display quality.
