    摘要: In a medical treatment tool (1, 1A, 1B), a flexible linear wire forms a main linear wire portion (2) provided by a wire-stranded helical hollow tube (6) coated with an outer protective layer (8). An operational core elongation (4) is slidably inserted into the main linear wire portion (2) of the wire-stranded helical hollow tube (6). A front end of the main linear wire portion (2) is connected to a front end of the operational core elongation (4), and a rear end of the operational core elongation (4) is connected to a hand access portion (5) placed at a rear end of the main linear wire portion (2). A diametrically expandable portion (3) is formed at a distal end portion of the main linear wire portion (2) by exposing the wire-stranded helical hollow tube (6) outside from the outer protective layer (8). An outer surface of the wire-stranded helical hollow tube (6) of the diametrically expandable portion (3) is at least diametrically reduced, and the diametrically expandable portion (3) forms a basket-like configuration which is shiftable into a diametrically shrunken configuration due to a relative siliding displacement between the operational core elongation (4) and the main linear wire portion (2) so as to efficiently retrieve foreign matters within the human somatic cavity.

    摘要: In a medical guide wire 1, a flexible core wire 2 is made of austenitic stainless steel wire treated with a solid solution procedure, and drawn with a whole cross sectional reduction ratio as 80%-97.6%. The core wire 2 and a helical spring body 3 are welded by a welding member 4. The welding member 4 is made of eutectic alloy having a melting temperature ranging from 180° C.-495° C. Upon welding the helical spring body 3 to the core wire 2 which is made of the stainless steel metal, the procedure prevents the medical guide wire 1 from sacrificing its mechanical strength by significantly reducing the thermal influence on the core wire 2 and the helical spring body 3.

This provides an improved flexibility, sensitivity, torsibility and torque transmissibility with the flat plane structure (13) so as to be accessible to the diseased area with a high detective and ablative ability.

Where the torsional rigidity coefficient is a divided value of (a maximum torsional stress based on a torsional moment to which the core member is subjected)/(the torsional moment to which the core member is subjected). The helical diameter-to-line diameter ratio is a value of (a mean value of outer and inner diameters of the helical spring)/(a line element diameter of the helical spring).

    摘要: In a medical guide wire 1, a flexible core wire 2 is made of austenitic stainless steel wire treated with a solid solution procedure, and drawn with a whole cross sectional reduction ratio as 90%-97.6%. Each time when the core wire 2 is subjected to a series of mechanical procedures, the core wire 2 is heat treated repetitively at low temperature subsequent to the mechanical procedures to improve a tensile strength characteristic of the core wire 2. The core wire 2 is twisted under the low heat treatment. Effectively used is a heat generated from a synthetic layer 6 when coating the layer 6 on the helical spring body 3. This makes it possible to increase the characteristic of the tensile strength of the core wire 2 with its thermal conductivity taken into consideration. Upon improving the tensile strength of the core wire 2, optimal conditions are achieved by observing a relationship between the tensile strength and the temperature which the core wire 2 exhibits when tightly drawn as a wrought-out procedure.
