Supply circuit SC for a Hall sensor multiplication circuit HSC makes it possible to produce both circuits in monolithic technology on a common substrate and yet accomplish the polarity reversal of the output voltage U.sub.H of the multiplication circuit HSC with such accuracy that at said reversal the absolute value of the voltage U.sub.H is preserved with an accuracy of 0.01%.

A watthour meter or a wattmeter comprising Hall sensors and possessing a precise linearity of the conversion of low voltage into frequency within a broad dynamic range. The required linearity is achieved by providing a multiplication-adding circuit MS with a current output, to which the noninverting input of the last operational amplifier in the circuit is connected, by providing a current-frequency converter IFC with a differential integrator DI comprising an active compensation feedback circuit, by shunting the output and the input of the converter IFC by a compensation circuit CC to compensate the ripple, offset and charge injections of electronic switches, and by placing the Hall sensors so that the magnetic induction direction in the slits of a ferromagnetic yoke is different for each sensor of a pair of them.

A circuit arrangement of a reading device for electromagnetic identification cards having inverters connected in parallel and an LC resonant circuit forming a transmitting oscillator which is influenced by the identification card to change the amplitude of an oscillating signal in order to recognize approach thereto of the card. Detection of the signal amplitude change is utilized to form pulses for subsequent data processing in which the influence of distance between the identification card and the reading device is minimized.

A wattmeter in which a Hall sensor is provided with a large number of Hall elements, whose voltages are individually tapped. The wattmeter circuit is further provided with an impulse-width modulator, the input voltage of this modulator being periodically reversed, with a feedback to compensate the disturbing voltages, and with a circuit for precision curvature compensation CMOS bandgap reference. The output of an embodiment of the wattmeter is adapted to the reading-off by a computer. A wattmeter can be realized on a semiconductor wafer.

A watthour meter having a Hall component in a sensor circuit connected to a low voltage type of voltage-to-frequency converter, achieves linear signal conversion of the voltage output from the sensor circuit with maximum polarity reversal of the Hall voltage by synchronizing such polarity reversal with polarity reversal across an integration capacitor of the converter so that the amplified offset voltage produced by the integration operation and the effects of capacitor instability compensate for each other.
