    摘要: An active matrix display comprises a circuitry layer and a device layer having a planarizing layer therebetween on the glass substrate. The circuitry layer has pixel circuits defining pixel units and the device layer has organic EL devices defining the pixel units. The organic EL devices are electrically connected with respective pixel circuits by contacts. The contacts are each positioned at the exterior of the emitting area, or the luminescent layer including an organic layer, of each pixel unit in the device layer.

    摘要: In an active matrix type display apparatus according to the present invention, the following measures are provided when stacking, on a substrate, a device layer (light emitting portion) formed by arranging a light emitting portion in a sub-pixel unit and a circuit layer (sub-pixel circuit) formed by arranging a sub-pixel circuit for driving the light emitting portion in the sub-pixel unit: the apparatus has a stripe arrangement as the arrangement of sub-pixel circuits and a delta arrangement as the arrangement of light emitting portions. Therefore, it is possible to improve reliability of the sub-pixel circuits while utilizing the advantages of the delta arrangement of the light emitting portions, and thus realize a high-reliability, high-definition, and high-brightness display apparatus.

    摘要: A sheet processing apparatus and a sheet take-out apparatus that prevents a sheet conveyed by a take-out portion from hanging-down and falling, when the take-out portion is stopped due to an emergency. If a take-out emergency process state occurs during the take-out of sheets, the sheet take-out apparatus stops upward movement of a backup plate, moves down feed stoppers, and presses a sheet bundle from above to prevent the sheet on the uppermost surface from being taken out. The sheet take-out apparatus also keeps a rotor air valve on and takes out the sheet caught in a sheet take-in port. When residual sheets on the backup plate are later detected, the sheet take-out apparatus moves down the position of the backup plate, turns off air valves for the rotor, fixed absorbing unit, and handling, and loads a hanging-down sheet on the backup plate, to prevent the sheet from scattering.

    摘要: A magnetic recording medium comprising a non-magnetic support, a magnetic metal thin film formed on one surface of the non-magnetic support and a back coating layer formed on the opposite surface of the non-magnetic support. The back coating layer is composed of non-magnetic pigment powders containing carbon powders and a binder, and the content of the carbon powders based on the total weight of the non-magnetic pigment powders is not less than 20 wt %. The weight ratio of the non-magnetic pigment powders to the binder is 0.5 to 2, while the coating thickness of the back coating layer is not less than 0.2 .mu.m. The surface resistivity of both the magnetic metal layer and the back coating layer is not higher than 10.sup.6 .OMEGA./sq. The stable running performance may be achieved even if the thickness of the back coating layer is reduced, if within a range of 0.2 .mu.m or higher. In this manner, the tape cassette may be reduced in size and the quantity of the storable information may be increased to contribute to reduction in size of the magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus.
