    Abstract: An exhaust gas recirculation cooler that includes an inlet tank, an outlet tank, and an exhaust gas flow conduit in fluid communication with the inlet tank and the outlet tank. The exhaust gas flow conduit includes a first end, a second end, a first narrow side, a second narrow side, a first channel adjacent the first narrow side and extending between the first end and the second end, a second channel adjacent the second narrow side and extending between the first end and the second end, and a plurality of third channels located between the first channel and the second channel and extending between the first end and the second end. At least one of the inlet tank and the outlet tank includes a wall that inhibits exhaust gas from flowing through the first channel while allowing exhaust gas flow through the plurality of third channels.

    Abstract: An exhaust gas recirculation cooler that includes an inlet tank, an outlet tank, and an exhaust gas flow conduit in fluid communication with the inlet tank and the outlet tank.     Abstract: A heat exchanger from a stack of plate pairs having fins which are disposed between the plate pairs, and having ducts which vertically extend through the stack, for conveying in and/or conveying out a medium which flows through the plate pairs and which exchanges heat with another medium which flows through the fins, wherein the ducts are formed from openings in the plates and have moldings which extend around opening peripheries, and having a plate, having corresponding openings, which finishes off the stack, wherein a thermally decoupling element, which is inserted either in an integrated or a separate manner and which is incorporated into the vertical duct formation, is disposed between the finishing-off plate and the stack.     Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a bundle of tubes, which can be inserted into a tubular housing. Exhaust gas can flow through the tubes. A coolant duct can be arranged between the tubes. The bundle of tubes can have at least one grid-like securing structure which supports the bundle in the housing. The behavior of the heat exchanger with respect to vibrations is affected by outwardly curved metallic springs attached to the bundle of tubes which may be deformed in the opposite direction to the insertion direction of the bundle into the housing. The spring force is directed against the housing in order to dampen vibrations. The heat exchanger can also include an elastic device for permitting a change in length caused by temperature changes.
