    摘要: The present invention comprises a novel tube support system for a heat exchanger that serves to replace the baffles present in typical shell-and-tube heat exchangers. The shell-and-tube heat exchanger of the present invention employs helically coiled wires to form a support structure for the tubes contained within the heat exchanger shell. The elimination of baffles and the use of the coil support structure according to the present invention permits axial fluid flow for the shell side fluid and significantly minimizes fouling problems and tube damage resulting from flow-induced tube vibration.

    摘要: A heat exchanger (2) with flexible tubes (20), particularly for a motor vehicle cooling installation. The tubes (20), for example made of a plastic material, are designed to carry a heat-exchanging fluid capable of co-operating with an air stream circulating through the exchanger (2). The inventive exchanger (2) comprises means for maintaining the tubes (20) in parallel rows. The tubes (20) are designed to be generally shaped like substantially sinusoidal lines. The sinusoids of two contacting tubes (211, 212) of two consecutive rows, are phase offset relatively to each other such that the two tubes (211, 212) are maintained in two contact zones (210) per sinusoid interval, thereby leaving interstices between the tubes (20) to enhance the penetration of the flux.

    摘要: A spiral louver shaped condenser includes fins and a refrigeration pipe. The fins are spirally wound around the outer wall of the refrigeration pipe at equal screw pitches. The fins are integrally formed by stamping a strip-shaped sheet material and at least comprise first heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies and second heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies. A broken line is arranged between adjacent heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies, and each heat-absorbing and heat-radiating body forms a wavy structure. Relative wave crests and wave troughs are formed at each broken line between the adjacent heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies, and the wave crests and wave troughs formed by all the broken lines of the adjacent heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies form a honeycomb structure together. The wavy edges of the first heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies make contact with the outer wall of the refrigeration pipe in a spirally-wound mode at equal screw pitches.

The condenser assembly can include a horizontally extending condenser coil assembly that has a plurality of supporting connectors that are arranged at an angle to the flow direction of cooling air. Cooling air is drawn through the refrigerator and across a length of the condenser coil by an air mover.     摘要: The present invention comprises a novel heat exchanger configuration which preferably uses the axial flow direction for the shell-side fluid and in which dead zones and areas of stagnation are significantly minimized or eliminated and in which inlet region tube erosion is addressed by providing a sacrificial portion of tube length so as to make repair and replacement of the eroded portion of tubes significantly cheaper, easier and with minimal process interruption. Because axial flow is employed with respect to the shell-side fluid according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, tube vibration problems are generally eliminated.
