    摘要: A cylindrical permanent magnet suitable for use as the rotor magnet of a stepping motor. The magnet is a sintered cylindrical permanent magnet having a composition expressed by MO.nFe.sub.2 O.sub.3, where M represents Ba, Sr, Pb or mixture thereof, while n represents a value of 5 to 6. The sintered cylindrical permanent magnet is provided on its surface with multipolar anisotropy of more than 8 (eight) magnetic poles. Disclosed also is a method of producing the cylindrical permanent magnet.

    摘要: A rare earth-iron-boron permanent magnet alloy having a composition represented by the formula:R.sub.a Fe.sub.b B.sub.c M.sub.d,wherein R represents one or more rare earth elements, M represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Al, Si, Cu, Nb, W, V, Mo and Ta, 20% or less of Fe may be substituted by Co, and a, b, c and d are atomic % satisfying a: 10-15, b: balance, c: 4-8, and d: 10 or less, the magnet alloy having an average crystal grain size of 0.01-0.2 .mu.m (0.2 .mu.m or less in 90% or more by area of the crystal grains). This magnet alloy can be used to provide an isotropic bonded magnets which may be used of PM motors.

    摘要: A drying apparatus for powdered or granular material comprising a hopper body with an electric heater in its center, housing therein a heat conducting fin formed with plural compartment walls radially projected therefrom and a carrier gas communication path provided in the conducting fin, which has an upper introduction port and a lower exhaust port, both connected with a penetrating up and down path provided in the center of the heat conducting fin. The apparatus is constructed such that carrier gas externally introduced is fed into the hopper body. According to the apparatus, powdered or granular material is uniformly heated and dried and heating source for carrier gas is not necessary, thereby achieving improvement in energy efficiency and energy saving.

    摘要: A phase detecting actuator for a steering system having a rotatable steering shaft and a rotatable output shaft coupled to the steering shaft so that the output shaft is rotatable relative to the steering shaft includes a cylindrical magnet attached to and rotatable with one of the steering shaft and the output shaft of the steering system. An electromagnetic system includes a magnetic coil and first and second cylindrical poles having opposite polarities and communicating with the magnetic coil, the first and second poles attached to and rotatable with the other of the steering shaft and the output shaft of the steering system. The magnetic coil generates an input signal corresponding to magnetic flux generated by the relative rotation between the cylindrical magnet and the first and second poles, and a control unit receives the input signal from the magnetic coil and generates an output signal to energize the magnetic coil to create a magnetic positioning force between the cylindrical magnet and the first and second poles to position the output shaft relative to the steering shaft.
