摘要： An electrophotographic photoreceptor having a high chargeability and a low dark decay is disclosed, which comprises an electrically conductive support having formed thereon a light-sensitive layer containing as a charge generating material a pigment which has been subjected to an acid washing treatment to lower the content of metal impurities below 500 ppm or less.

摘要： The invention provides an image forming apparatus having: an image holding member; a charging unit; a latent image-forming unit; a development unit; a measuring unit; and a control unit. The image holding member has a substrate having a surface having regular reflectance in a range of about 30% to about 95% with respect to light having a first wavelength and a subbing layer having a light transmittance of about 50% or greater per unit thickness of the layer with respect to light having the first wavelength and a photosensitive layer having absorption with respect to light having a second wavelength that is different from the first wavelength.

摘要： An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate, and at least a photosensitive layer on the conductive substrate, a layer located at a surface of the photosensitive layer side of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains fluorine containing resin particles and a fluoro graft polymer having a fluoroalkyl group having 1 to 7 carbon atoms, and an area for a polystyrene equivalent molecular weight of 700,000 or more is from about 5% to about 20% of the total area in a gel permeation chromatography (GPC) chart for the fluoro graft polymer.

摘要： An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes: an electrophotographic photoreceptor body containing a cylindrical electroconductive substrate having openings at both ends in an axial direction, the cylindrical electroconductive substrate having a thickness of approximately 2 mm or more at a center portion in an axial direction and having a socket joint portion on each of inner surfaces of both end portions in an axial direction; and a photosensitive layer provided on an outer surface of the electroconductive substrate; and a support member fit in the openings of the electroconductive substrate, having an fitting portion which has an outer diameter that is larger than a diameter of the opening by a range of from approximately 0.01 mm to approximately 0.1 mm, the fitting portion being press-fit into the opening.
