摘要： An optical document scanning method and apparatus having a driving system which drives each of the lens groups collectively forming the optical scanning apparatus in an optical axis direction to lens positions corresponding to a given designed-scanning magnification; and a detecting system which detects the actual scanning magnification of the optical scanning system at the lens positions corresponding to the given designed-scanning magnification, whereby to substantially match the actual scanning magnification to the given designed-scanning magnification, the driving system drives each of the lens groups in the optical axis direction by a given amount corresponding to any difference between the actual scanning magnification and the given designed-scanning magnification.

摘要： A low-cost and small-size image reader incorporating a variable power function. An original document is irradiated with the light from a light source. The light is reflected in a reading position. The reflected light is incident on a mirror block via a fixed mirror. The light incident on the mirror block is deflected by a pair of mirrors. An optical path is thus extended and shortened in its length without taking a space in the horizontal directions of the reader. The mirror block and the lens are provided with driving devices. The mirror block and the lens are moved to adjust a focal point and a magnification.

摘要： A linear illuminator for image reading by the use of a linear sensor comprises a linear illumination light source, a cylindrical rotational member provided about the circumference of the linear illumination light source, and plurality of color separation filters installed on the rotational member. By controlling the rotation of the rotational member, plural kinds of color separation linear illumination light are output in the time series. The cylinder may have a shielding area between filters, which enables measurement of the dark current of the linear sensor.

摘要： An injection molding machine includes a sub-mold hollow structure defining a plurality of sub-mold hollows which are formed in at least one of a fixed-side base plate and a movable-side base plate with a keyway being formed in the base plate in which the sub-mold hollow structure is formed. A changeable sub-mold is detachably mounted in each of the sub-mold hollows, and a comb-shaped fixing key is detachably engaged in the keyway and fixes the changeable sub-molds when the comb-like fixing key is inserted into the keyway.
